“Really good”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Maria and her family are really nice people and made everyone welcome, the hotel was clean and the food was really nice in particular the pork souvlaki. It was about a 10 minute walk to the strip so it was away from the noise but still walking distance. Felt like I was part of the family by the end of the week!

Me and Sharon arrived at the Marianna Studios on the 3rd of June and left on the 17th and for the whole time at the Marianna we were made to feel as though we were kings and queens nothing was too much trouble for the owner Maria and her husband Gianni. Maria was on hand when ever we needed something from a drink at the bar to breakfast after a good old knees up the night before. The rooms were always very clean and tidy and fresh towels were given to us daily also hot water and zircon if need. The Marianna is ideally located for the beach and the night life just a five minute walk to both but is also far enough away for anyone that wants to relax away from the night life. The pool is very inviting and offers some much needed chance to cool down from the hot sun very clean and tidy with sun loungers for all. Maria also has her grandson working behind the bar and if the mood is right he may do a traditional dance to keep you in the holiday mood. All in all this is a lovely place to stay and i will be staying again next year and for many more years to come. So thank you Maria for a holiday i will remember ADONIS. One more thing Mick makes the best pizza PIT STOP try them out when passing to go back for a night cap.

Room Tip: All the rooms are very clean and tidy but one or two have bigger balconies in order to dry more wash...

We arrived at Marianna studios after quite a disappointing visit to another hotel, and we were warmly welcomed by Maria, the owner of the property, and Alice, the bar tender.

The hotel was fairly quiet whilst we were there, and it has a lovely pool on perfect green grass. It's in a quiet part of Malia, which is good if you want to get away from the strip. It's quite a walk to the beach - we walked for over 30 minutes, which took us to a lovely beach, but this can be tough work in the heat! It's very close to the old town which is the place to go if you're after a quiet holiday, but equally close to the bars and clubs on the strip.

The air conditioning caused us many problems, but the owners were extremely helpful and even called out engineers to fix it. It didn't end up being fixed, which only caused problems because we had to sleep with the balcony door open - the sound from the strip is honestly unbelievable! It is so so loud, but I think it would be amazing if you're out there dancing!

My only gripe would be that a group of boys came in and claimed that a television company were coming to film them, and they were thinking of moving to these apartments. Maria gave them each a free cocktail, and then invited another group of girls over for a free shot each. In the meantime, she charged me full price for the five drinks and two meals that my mum and I had! Not surprisingly, the boys didn't move hotels, and it just seemed unfair that they were treated to free drinks when they spent barely anything, whilst we spent over 200 euros and didn't get a look in!

I would recommend these apartments to young people really, as it's in a good area for bars and clubbing. Thank you for a nice stay!

We went for a lads holiday and this hotel was pretty good. Maria is one of the nicest owners ever and she proper looks after you. She let us off like 50 cents for each meal quite a lot. Shes very welcoming and comforting. Theres also alison who is such a nice person who you can make convo with easily. Shes helpful too as she tells you who to get stuff off and who to avoid. Overall this hotel is amazing for a lads holiday as its so close to the strip and convienent.

This is such a good hotel for mates holidays, I went with 2 other of my friends and had the best time ever!

The owner is lovely and couldn't do enough for you, but be warned on the first day we got there it was found that she had over booked and there wasn't enough rooms left for us. (This happened to another two groups of people when we was out there). After a but of room juggling she managed to find us a temporary doubleroom for two nights until a triple room came available. The room that we eventually ended up in was great and basic, with a huge balcony! The owner assisted us in every way to ensure that we had a good stay and have free air-com due to the mix up! This did not spoil out holiday in anyway and we all laughed about it afterwards!

The pool was basic but we was always in it, very good for a quick dip when it got warm. The bar served wry nice and cheap food, and Alison the bar maid was a great laugh and was on hand to advise about the local area.

On a night the drinks was cheap and a great place to Pre-drink before heading out. The strip is about 10-15 mins but doesn't seem 2minutes the beach is about the same.

The hotel is a great place to meet friends as we talked and got to know practically everyone staying in the Hotel. So many good memories and would defiantly go back!

We are always wary of what hotels to pick but so happy we picked Marianna Studios. Maria is a little jem, anything you need, anything you want and its there for you. Christov and Alison from the bar are equally as nice.... I had broken my little mirror to do my make up in and Alison pointed me in the direction to buy a new one :)

Room was basic size for what you pay for and room was very clean when we arrived. Got into a little trouble for the mess of it but what can you expect from 2 girls :) Towels and bedding got changed enough and balcony was decent size.

Didn't see one family in the hotel the whole time we were there for 12 nights so id probably recommended it to younger people.

Walk to the strip is 10 minutes but not far and we quite liked the wee walk to the strip :) On the strip our favorite pub was the Loft or Brits Bar and favorite club was Zig Zag!! Its close enough away that you can get a good nights sleep.

Dont have to be up early for sun loungers etc, always plenty about but watch for the wee ants! Pool was decent size but wasnt really in it that much. Pool bar drinks were medium, as we were leaving they started doing drinks promotions like Fish Bowls and Happy Hour.

Dont forget to try the barbeque on a Sunday night and Mikes pizza on the way home from a night out! They are the best things ive tasted in Greece :)
