This place is absolutely brilliant,18 to 30s hotel we were a group of girls . room 10 the best :) . When we first arrived we were welcomed by the Reps Sam and Dane . Then they took us to the hotel to be welcomed by reception . Which they were so lovely we had a shot of sambuca with them haha. Then we had a welcome meeting with sam the rep . Shes the best rep in malia . told us what 18 to 30s events where on during the 2 weeks we were there . The hotel its self is lovely and clean, think we got the best one in malia. The cleaner cleaned everyday and the staff at the hotel were wonderful. Layla and lauren behind the bar in the morning and evening were lovely :) we always told them our gossip haha . Also the managers of the hotel John and maria (mum and dad ) they got us anything we needed and we felt really welcome and at home . the staff were like family to us we miss them all. the food was delicious behind the bar and cheap enough to fill us up for the alcohol also and the nightlife was amazing in malia , silent arena all the way. thanks too everyone who we met and the staff at the hotel who made our holiday especcially mum and dad and cant forget auntie,if you needed anything we just asked them . we could go to them about anything and they would help us . definetly see everyone next year . the location was brilliant 5 mins from the strip.brilliant hotel theres nothing bad we would say about this hotel everything was brilliant .

we got to the hotel at stupid o clock because of cheap flights and had to carry our cases up to our rooms ourselves. we were rushed into our rooms and before we could even shower the reps were hassling us to book excursions such as boat parties and told us if we didn't book then and there then we couldn't go (not true as they hassled us all week after to buy tickets). the 18-30s reps will tell you anything to get your money. the excursions are really good but don't believe all the reps tell you - for example '€1 drinks all night' means that there will be a ten minute slot in which drinks cost one euro then go back to normal. the pool area was good we met lots of people and had a good time, they do some good drinking games before nights out too. i dunno why everyone bangs on so much about Maria, i found her rude and very hormonal, she doesn't have very good people skills and would think nothing of shouting at us. costa at the bar was quite sweet to us though. we had an altercation with the staff one night because my friend lost her safe key, the replacement was supposed to be €50 but because the hotel had lost the spare key they made us pay €100 for a locksmith (that or leave our passports and valuables in there). the rooms were basic but you had what you needed and they were very big. you have to pay at the bar for a toilet roll lol sums the place up. you'll have a great holiday if you're with a fun group of people, it's a 5-10 min walk from the strip which made me feel like we'd miss out but we didn't at all, it was actually the perfect location. the place is run by the customers not the staff so it's whatever you make it, but don't expect the staff to be reliable like if you got in an argument with another resident or like your stuff was stolen I really don't think they'd care, although the rooms are quite secure. I'm trying to think what other info I can give you...showers are clean but a bit crap, more of a handheld hose in a wet room as someone said before. the beds are fine and think they got changed once mid-week. we had a bin for toilet roll though which they didnt empty all week so we basically had poo sitting in our room hahaha. the bar food is okay when youre hungover and starving, it's a bit basic but there's food places around. there's a fridge and sink in the rooms but thats it really. the beach is a good 15 minute walk or so but you dont notice cos there's shops and stuff on the way down..the beach is at the bottom of the strip. if you've booked a holiday here it's a bit tramps but you will have an amazing time, everywhere's a bit trampy anyway. we went 7 girls from London last July (31st - 7th August 2011) when we were 18 and we definitely had a good time. would recommend. if you've got high standards of how fun it is and low standards on how nice it is then you'll have a great time!

Worst holiday i have ever been on. Went with 18-30, reps were so annoying, trips were over rated and way over priced. Coaches were always late and so were the reps. Pools were nice, but very overlooked. The rooms were awful, we went self catering but we couldnt even cook a pot noodle in our room! had to pay extra on top of everything else for safe and air con, no lock on bathroom door, no proper shower. People were nice enough apart from on our last day where we had to stay outside with all of our cases for 14 hours as the coach to take us to the airport was yet again late!

So, we arrived about 9pm got to the airport. The airports crazy so badly organised lol not like Gatwick at all! But hey, it's MALIA! Got on to our coach, not a long drive at all went with 18-30s amazing atmosphere. Got to Eltina, nearly missed getting off the coach because there are 2 very similar named hotels so listen out! Got off, Eltina village is really big, walked down and was greeted by our Rep Dave, what a lovely bloke! Showed us our rooms let us settle in then he came back in and talked us through what they do etc. Lil bit pushy on the sales front but if u dont wanna do it you dont have too it is your holiday after all! But that is 18-30s for you! Our room said it had air con facilities but with no air con unit, so we questioned it and they tried to then sell us a fan?! We hasd 2 rooms (there were 5 of us) and we moved 2 matresses from one room in to the other room which had the air con unit, we slept on the mattresses on the floor they didnt mind at all as long as we put it back, best idea we had - really made the holiday having all 5 of us together! Btw , no kettle facilities or anything like that in this place

Pool was lame, really small but clean-ish... we all like the beach though!

We were right at the very top of the strip round the corner about a 2 minute walk and we were at the top of the strip so excellent location far away enough to sleep and close enough to walk. If you walked all the way down the strip you got to the beach we did that every day it was a 20minute walk each way. Burned off some of the bad food and alcohol we consumed. Beach was gorgeous! Absolutely stunning, and the weather was brilliant so lovely and warm and had a nice breeze (10th-17th july 2011)

The bars and clubs are awesome, full of young people, great atmosphere. Hit Zoo bar that is on the left hand side sort of opposite subway - they do great drinks and musics good atmospheres good - Do the Alabama slammer and you will regret it lol!

Candy was good and definitely do the silent disco on the Wednesday night, was the best night of the whole week for us! Reps were lovely and we got sold "The big Reunion" when we were out there which was held in Skegness in november - BEST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE IF THEY INVITE YOU TO THIS YOU HAVE TO GO IT WAS AWESOME!

It's Malia, drinks arent to expensive I spent 500 euros in a week that was for all food, all drinks, everything when we were out there all our water, all our fruit, literally we bought everything when we were there. Could eat dinner for about 6-10 euros depending what youre having and all the food places are along the strip as well...

On the beach theres a bar called Dolphin Bar, we absolutely loved it and there was the owner Yanis, they were brilliant! They really looked after us and always gave us beach chairs right at the front of the beach :) We paied 15 euros each and had deck chairs every day for 7 days, works out cheaper to buy the whole week... we ate lunch there nearly everyday when we felt like eating lol!

Would recommend Malia to anyone between the ages of 16-24 the girls are quite young there we were 19 and we felt a little old compared to some of the girls out there!

ITS AMAZING, ITS MALIA ITS WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM ONE OF "THEM" HOLIDAYS!
