Short snappy review me 3 friends stayed in hermes hotel we got accommodated the third floor which when we seen the rooms was like a prison room , even the rep said the room was like the Sahara desert as the air con we payed for didn't work , I would advise not to do the trips the only one I would recommend was the booze cruise , however which was ridiculous it was £20pp to bring a girl back to the room and the guy was so cheeky he is lucky he did not get a slap . Overall I would rate this hotel 3/5 but the banter we made ourselves was fantastic so we had a ball

Me and my 2 friends visited Hotel Hermes at the end of June and was expecting a hell hole because of all the reviews online, (we read after we had booked), however it isn't that bad of a hotel.

The reps are annoying as hell and tell you how much of a 'rubbish' time you'll have because 'everyone' does their events. THIS IS A LIE! We had an amazing time without doing anything with the reps and would recommend not doing it as many others didn't. Also a few people who did the events said it wasn't worth the money they had paid.

We were lucky because we had a good room as we were on the second floor. The rooms weren't exactly clean but they weren't stinking and you get what you pay for. The sheets are stained though, and the showers aren't the best but who cares its a party hotel after all!

The staff however are friendly, the night receptionist is lovely and I would recommend actually speaking to him instead of just giving him your key because hes genuinely a lovely guy.

Overall we had a good stay and would recommend going as the location is good. :)

Anything valuable, lock them in your case. DO NOT risk leaving it out as they dirty, violent maids will get their hands on it. Also, tell the reps to leave when they come in and try to make you spend 209 euros immediately on the events when you can get tickets for half the price. Paid 20 euros to see skepta who didn't actually come on until about 3/4 in the morning. The hotel was OK other than the maids and the impatient receptionists who you had to suck up to to get them to reason with you. The bar is a bit pricey for alcohol and you're charged a five euro fine if you bring your own food onto the pool area...

Sheets are already dirty on arrival, air con is overpriced, the toilets are disgusting and dirty. You need to buy your own toilet roll, the shower is abysmal, and the beds are already half broken so watch in case you get fined for LYING DOWN. Worst sleep I've ever had.
Good location and nice lobby area.

Go elsewhere if you can find a better reviewed hotel.

Room Tip: ground floor, try avoid higher.

Came home yesterday. First impressions were good. Public areas were modern and clean. The reps pounce on you as soon as you step foot in your room! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! they overcharge! you can buy all event tickets elsewhere! The paint party is a must though! we stayed in room 106 as we were in a group of three. We knew that the hotel was club 18-30 but the cleaning standards were shocking! the bathroom had not been cleaned. hairs everywhere! no shower curtain! our floor was soaking everytime we showered! hotel bar is good, the staff are firendly and make an effort to talk which is nice! hardly seen the reps, we had to get our own tickets to the foam party on our last night cos' the rep forgot to give us our tickets!!! they were nowhere to be seen!! me and my friends had to personally ask the club manager for our tickets! they say that they post little notes under your door but that's a lie. be prepared to find out all the information yourself like we did! the location is perfect. overall we would stay again, just would'nt bother with the reps!

Me and my 3 bestest girlie friends went to Malia for a week at the end of August 2013. Having read the previous reviews about this hotel we were a little worried about the state that it would be in. We requested lower floor rooms with Thomas Cook as having read the reviews we were told these were nicer. Upon our arrival at the hotel we found that we were actually on the third floor. We decided not to complain and just to get on with it. The room was fine, everything was clean and even though it wasn't a re-furbished room we were happy. The whole week was excellent at this hotel, the people on reception were lovely - especially the woman! I think as long as you abide by the rules of the hotel then your not going to get into trouble. We also used the lift and shock horror - IT DIDNT BREAK. The only little hiccup was that the water pressure for the showers wasn't always good and it wasn't always hot, at the end of the day though your on a girls/guys holiday it's not going to be perfect. Plus it was entirely manageable. The hotel is lovely as it's off the strip and so you can't hear the noise and it's facing the hills. In the last few days we saw one of the re-furbished rooms (which I have to say was MUCH nicer than our room), but your only really sleeping and eating in your room so it's no problem and their all equipped for your needs. My friends also complained when their shower head broke off and the hotel were lovely about it and came to fix it with no complaints. Overall I would recommend this hotel all the people we met there were lovely too. As long as you respect the people that work there, you get the same amount of respect back!

We loved our stay at hermes, we didnt expect much after reading the reviews but was so surprised to be welcomed to such a nice room! The room was a good size with a big balcony. The room was clean and we had clean towels and bed sheets every few days. The hotel in general was clean and tidy. The staff was lovely, if your polite and respectful to anna she is a diamond and will sort you out big big time but if you get on the wrong side of her expect to be shouted at! Just respect her and she will be lovely to you and will do anything she can to help you out. The reps try and sell the stuff at ridiculous time in the morning the minute you land but we didnt buy anything and had an amazing holiday so dont feel you have to buy it. But overall we loved this hotel was so close to the strip. Everything for us was what we wanted and needed. We loved hermes and would stay there again!
