“a place for almost everybody”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

First things first: Its a good place for almost everyone, older couples, familiies, students....I can recommend it. I stayed there for almost week. I realised, that the audience is very mixed. Everybody should feel comfortable.
Most important thing is cleanliness. This aspect was totally acceptable in the Triton Hotel. The furniture (including the ceiling fan) on the other hand seemed a little time worn. I also felt disturbed about paying for the wifi. Even in an YMCA this is in the service included. Breakfast was lil early, So I had to adapt my daily routine to it, everyday, I fought get up at nine, strolling half unconscious to the breakfast room, coming back to the room to continue sleeping for at 1,5hrs (if i made it in the first place to wake up) . But I guess this kind of schedule is not different in other hotels.
The staff is very helpful, which is also true for the cretians as hosts in general.
Bottom line: book it, if price and the location suit you.

The foid us typical all inclusive where as does get repeated for second week and tgere were a couple of nights I didnt eat therevas nowt I liked but tgat gave us a chance to get out. Found a pub called tge red lion (out the hotel turn right and left at mcdonalds) and can honestly say tge foid tgere us amazing both in price and quality. Try the Sunday carvery its lovely.
All in all 2 weeks in the boiling sun for a bargain price surrounded by nice people. Dont read any badvreviews and let it put u off. Its clean, pools nice, food ok and staff great

Close to busy area, though not noisy at night. Close to sandy beaches and some really lovely, intimate restraunts and bars.
Very clean though basic rooms, overwhelmed by the sincere and friendly team there, good food and no nonsense approach to service and some nuisance youngsters who would be inconsiderate if allowed. vy good value for your euro !
We will be back.
Maddonna and Andrew. :)>.

Room Tip: Phone the hotel direct.

After a few girly holidays over the years, we can honestly say that Malia is our favourite place so far and that was 80% down to our stay at the Triton. When we first arrived it was quite late and got put in a room that was very hot with a fan that did not work! We went over to the reception to ask if we could be moved and Philip (the man on reception) told us that we could be moved straight away the next morning to a room with air conditioning. Not ones to normally complain, we we're happy that he was happy to help us.

The staff are so lovely at the Triton and are always happy to help. Do not be afraid to ask for anything. We especially loved Philip and Andreas, very welcoming and made us feel 100% safe :)

The strip is only a 2 minute walk and is literally on your door step! Great after a mad night out. We didn't try breakfast as we didn't get up in time but we had lunch/dinner most days. All I would say about the food is that if you are quite fussy than take a bit of extra money as you might need a burger afterwards. I would say that there is a much better selection at lunch time than dinner. (There's always chips at lunch) However, me and my best friend are always willing to try new things and always found something that we liked. Lastly, all I would say about the food is watch the meat....we thought it was steak....nope it was liver!!

Cleaner came in our room everyday and everywhere was kept spotless. Pool was lovely too! We couldn't have asked for a better hotel, clean, safe and friendly! Booking 2 weeks before we went we seriously got a bargain and couldn't have asked for a better holiday.

People are way to fussy and some of these reviews are absolute rubbish! At the end of the day you get what you pay for and have to make the most of what you've got :) Like my title says 'a holiday is what you make it!'

Me and 4 girls recently just been to this hotel for our first holiday and are planning to return next year. The hotel is in the ideal location as it's literally a 2 minute walk from the strip, the rooms are pretty basic however we're kept clean all the way throughout the holiday. The only downside is the all inclusive, we ate out every night as it was not the best but the drinks are not as bad as people are making it out to be.. If you want to get drunk you will drink them! Overall the staff made the holiday, especially the doorman George who is lovely if you respect him! Highly recommend this hotel if it's your first holiday, had an amazing time.

Cleaner came in everyday and cleaned our room .
Loved the security guards as we felt very safe they did a great job people said that they was grumpy but far from it they was just doing there job and very friendly.

I stayed at this hotel last week and it was terrible! I payed a stupid amount for a room which looked nothing like the photos and it was filthy! There was shaving foam up the wall in the bath room, dirty toilet paper in the bin and the whole week we didn't get any clean towels or bedding! The worst part was we were staying in the apartments which we found out were punishment rooms!! Do not go to this hotel, such a scam!
