This rather small museum is on the north west side of the Municipal Hall of Syros - climb up more steps and to the right.
Has a bit of a story to tell about archeologist Christos TSOUNTAS - I took a bit more interest as my maiden name is similar. His archeological digs, finds and subsequent research.
On display - marble sculptures, artefacts and inscriptions dating back to Byzantine Period and Cycladic Period - cups, vases and even a compass.
Worth a visit.
