Met a friend for lunch here and had delicious crab salad, perfectly chilled wine and excellent service. The food is always fresh and delicious, prepared with care and attention

The food (especially roast chicken with caesar salad) is to die for. We ordered so much and finished everything. A must go if you are in Dublin as easy to access by dart or walk from dun laoghaire.

Visited here mid April at Lunchtime and all tables were full. The food was beautiful nad very well presented. Atmosphere is laid back but service is excellent and everyone was very attentive. Good value for money for quality of food servered. Great for a speacial ocassion lunch.

Had dinner here last weekend - 4 of us all had excellent meals. Roast chicken with a few nice twists was superb. Linguine with prawns was very good and a surprisingly large portion (too large for my wife to finish!).
The Iceberger desert is fantastic - brings back memories of the old HB ice cream sandwich but with better ice cream and presented very well.
The wine list was very good in the medium price range (around 30 euro) but had some pricey options too. On leaving we were given a complimentary loaf of bread.

They also handled a double booking mix-up very competently.

Such a nice experience whether its coffee or lunch (have not had dinner here yet). The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor quirky and interesting, the staff are more than helpful and very friendly. The warm confit duck salad is to die for - as is the massive slab of lemon drizzle cake, I have been to Salt on various occasions with my mum, my daughter, my friends and it is consistently good and appropriate for many occasions!!
