“Excellent first class all inclusive.”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

A luxurious hotel in a quiet location in the hills above Sorrento. Note there are two shuttle buses to take you into Sorrento through the day and early evening. The food is excellent, the singers/entertainment are fantastic. The hotel staff are the best I have ever encountered on all my holidays. All inclusive is for everyone so no wearing bands on your wrist, also the range of drinks and cocktails is beyond belief and I think you would struggle to sample all the cocktails in a one or two week holiday without ending up Pickled. I have been to this resort now twice and I would definitely go again. This is real first class service including the waiters serving drinks at the pool in tuxedos etc etc. Fresh made pizzas, grilled fish, various meats and pastas etc etc etc served at the pool every day weather permitting. The grounds are very nice and also contain shaded relaxing areas and about 4 Jacuzzis too. The Thompson daytime activities rep was virtually invisible, the first time she spoke to us was day 5, most people we spoke to thought that she thought she was on holiday too. The only downer other than the weather during our stay was the wifi was being repaired when we arrived and was still being repaired when we left, Italian repair men obviously can’t be rushed!!

Room Tip: Occhio Marino for quieter and more luxurious rooms, main building for closeness to restaurant and ba...

Me and my wife stayed at the Grand Hotel Nastro Azzurro at Easter 2014 and we had a wonderfull holiday from beginning to end. The Hotel is up high on a mountain but the courtesy bus is available daily at various times and the drivers are very kind and helpfull. The staff at the hotel were all excellent and they could not do enough to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and that we were always happy. The food was first class and we could not find fault with anything the hotel had to offer. The views from the Hotel were superb and i would recommed it to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a wonderfull hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms under the reception area are a little noisy from 7-00am

Situated up in the mountains about 15 mins drive from Sorrento this hotel, made up of two seperate buildings, has fabulous views of the mountains and the sea below. There are courtesy buses that run several times a day into the beautiful town of Sorrento. The hotel is set in attractive tiered, grassy, well maintained grounds with plenty of seating and sunbeds and a fabulous pool area. The staff are very friendly, great fun and extremely efficient and do everything they can to ensure you have a great time. The food is delicious and plentiful and there is a well stocked cocktail bar where there is music and dancing in the evenings. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean with numerous views to choose from. Check out the Thomson photo gallery to get the full picture. There's nothing I can add that hasn't already been said apart from that we've been there twice and love it and can't wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel in April for a week, we had a great time. Food was excellent, staff lovely. We have never stayed at an all inclusive hotel before but would certainly recommend this one.

Room Tip: Our room was 448 in the Occhio Marino Resort, it had a huge balcony and was in a very quiet position...

Nothing bad can be said about this hotel!!!!
Area - the hotel is set up in the hills but only 15min away from sorrento centre. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from sorrento.
Rooms - we where in room 206. A very modern room with alot of space. The price we paid included a balcony, coffee machine, dvd player, mini fridge, safe, slippers and dressing gowns!!!
Hotel - very modern throughout. There are plenty of chill out areas and grounds, so you never feel the hotel is too busy. There is the main hotel reception area, bar area, terrace at the front of the hotel, pool area, pool bar and eating area, sunset bar, gardens with hot tubs and the main dinning room. There is also a gym and spa on site.
Food and drink - the choice of both are outstanding!!!! Wine, beer, prosecco, cocktails, spirits and teas and coffees are all included. There is so much choice to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!!! Very tasty.
Staff - every memeber of the hotel are faultless!!!!! They cannot do enough for you. The staff delinatley make your stay a little more special.

This hotel is a must!!!!!!

There was a party of 14 at the hotel. This is a Thomson Couples "All Inclusive" hotel with views looking over the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento.

The party stayed at the hotel for 7 days, for the marriage of our daughter. The service, cleanliness and food was superb. We could not fault anything, from the moment you arrive to the end of your stay, the staff are attentive and want to ensure you are catered for.

What makes this hotel is the friendliness of the staff and I cannot pay a high enough accolade when it came to the evening wedding reception. We were first welcomed back to the hotel after the wedding in Sorrento with a champagne reception. Then we gathered in the A La Carte Restaurant which was for our exclusive use for the wedding dinner. The service at meal times is fantastic, but the party where amazed at how the staff served and conducted the wedding dinner, the photo I have included showing the prepared table do not do it justice. It was quite simply an amazing experience beyond anyone's expectations. My daughter and her new husband will never forget there wedding day.

Room Tip: We had a superior room which was a large room overlooking a wonderful range of mountains.

Excellent hotel with top rate staff. Spectacular views from all aspects of the hotel. Lovely touches such as the 'chill out' area with luxury tented sunbeds and waiter service throughout.

I cannot add anything about the hotel that has not all ready been said, the dedication of the staff and the limitless supply of food and drink was as good as I have experienced anywhere.

The only low point of the holiday was the organisation of Thompson insisting that we needed to be ready to go back to the airport at 7am (for an 11.45 flight) and we were then left waiting in the coach in a car park at Naples airport for almost 2 hours!
