The seafood cooked here is hard to beat in Gallipoli, and i would say many many other places in Italy. Fresh, tasty, and cooked in an innovative fashion by a talented chef, definitely a place to eat, and you must book to avoid disappointment!

We were reccomended this restaurant by our hotel. We were very disappointed by the antipasti based on their quality; but most of the mains were good- particularly the pasta. Waiting staff that weren't particularly smart or fast.

Angolo Blu is not in the main streets (very touristic) of the old town of Gallipoli. But it is easy to find - a few signs on the walls in Gallipoli show the way.
We were lucky to get the last table for two. So I recommend to make a reservation - especially in the main season.
Very friendly staff at reception desk and all the waiters are really very friendly. Great recommendations by the waiter for the "day special" which was not on the menu.
Excellent food - we were really excited. Great recommendation for the local wine. Reasonable and fair price. We can really recommend this place.
Nice location. A bit Greek-style.

We were recommended this restaurant by 'le Professore', we did not regret his choice. We went there on Sunday May 5th and enjoyed an excellent meal. Everything was great, the service, the food and the chef is very charming and generous,
We would greatly recommend this restaurant. (do not gorget to make a reservation)

This place is easy to find - there are quite a few signs all over the old town directing you to it. It is also worth finding. We made a reservation only an hour or so before we wanted to eat here and were impressed by the friendly reception we had from the waiter who took the booking.
The restaurant is decorated on a Greek theme with several paintings depicting Greek island scenes. It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere about it. In terms of the food, we went along with the waiter's recommendations. It was very good, sometimes bordering on the over-sophisticated - but this is not meant to be a serious criticism. As to wine, there was a reference to an open, local one on the menu, but we were told that this was not available. Instead there is a list of 'house wines', not unreasonably priced, but for some reason only available in half bottles. Oh well, so we had a couple instead of only one.
We declined dessert, but were informed that this was a big mistake and to prove the point we were presented with a big plate of almond-based sweets - on the house. They were delicious and we polished off the lot.
We departed suffering from sugar rush, but walked it off happily in the narrow streets of the town.
