We stayed at Madonna Dell'Arco in the summer of 2011 and were rewarded with a fantastic masseria atmosphere. The rooms were in the trulli houses and food served in the adjoining restaurant was definitely the highlight of our stay. Everything was cooked to perfection and servings were very generous. The hotel was also situated at a perfect location for visits to nearby towns in the Valle d'Itria.

I'll be honest: when we arrived and saw the Masseria was a working farm, complete with the smell of the animals, we were a bit taken aback. That impression soon evaporated. Our self-catering trulli were fabulously cool without air conditioning (those clever ancient peoples knew how to build) and very well stocked. Every morning after a generous breakfast we bought fresh mozzarella and milk still warm from the cheese maker on site, who welcomed us to watch him do his magic. The owner-managers run an excellent little restaurant on site, preparing local specialties and recommending local wines. Add to that our proximity to Alberobello, whose tourist hordes we successfully avoided, and the whole stay was perfect. We felt we'd travelled into another world, one we were privileged to share for a few days.

My husband, one year old and I stayed in Masseria Madonna Dellarco a small perfectly equipped apartment suitable for our every need. Giuseppe could not have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our weeks stay and ensured we really got to grips with the local culture by organising a wonderful cookery course with a local ostuni chef. All basics were catered for and they really went the extra mile - even arranging toys for our daughter to play with during the week! The trulli is extremely central on a quiet street behind the main piazza withn all the restaurants and evening buzz seconds away. I would warmly recommend this apartment for anyone travelling as a couple or young child looking to stay in Valle D'itria Puglia.

My wife and I used Masseria Madonna Dell'Arco as a halfway house between Bari Airport, where we landed, and the south of Puglia, where we wanted to go.

This is the perfect base to explore nearby Alberobello, Grotta di Castellana, Cisternino, Ostuni and of course Martina Franca. Maybe even Matera a little further in Basilicata.

It was very peaceful, we were given a huge room/flat (with kitchen/living/bathroom/veranda, and a bedroom with a massive double bed and two single beds, plus a baby cot).

There are animals all around the farm, even an ostrich! And the buildings themsevels are very pretty trulli.

We really enjoyed our time here, everything was very clean and the breakfast was very tasty, all with their own produces.

Of course, it wasn't very easy to find the place!!! Plan well before going!!!

Oh, and they seem to be building a swimming pool, which I'm sure will be an added bonus!

A charming Masseria in a beautiful historical city sud italy Martina Franca. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were lovely and clean, and the location in the center of the Valle d'itria was excellent. The owner Giovanni went out of his way to make everything absolutely perfect during our stay. We had trouble with train tickets and he actually sent somebody to the station to buy our ticket. Do yourself a favor and stay at this beautiful quaint masseria. The rooms are individually decorated and ours was fabulous. The breakfast is straight from a movie set and the ladies were amazingly helpful and kept the food and coffee going long past eleven as we were always late!
The room air conditioner could have cooled the room more.

We were greeted upon arrival Agriturismo Madonna dell'Arco such warm hospitality! Giovanni is their lovely manager who spoke excellent English and was completely accessible if we had any questions.

I cannot say enough about the property--every one of the apartments was beautifully decorated and well equiped with the things we needed. We felt as if we were staying in someone's personal residence and it was evident that Giovanni and Angela take great pride in their property.

The mornings and evenings were pleasant, and we often ate our breakfast on the patio outside of one apartment, the trullo which was away from the morning sun and over-looked the pool area.
Towels are provided once per week. With a family of 5 and extra towel use for the pool, we found it necessary to wash towels mid-week.

We loved Agriturismo Madonna dell'Arco and would definitely enjoy going back again. Having been to Italy 7 times in the past 5 years, this was the nicest agriturismo we've been to, and we have stated at some of the best. It was a perfect spot for familes to be close, yet have their own privacy. All of the apartments are located in one building with common areas to gather together.

Agriturismo Madonna dell'Arco is like a home away from home nestled between olive and fruit trees, vineyards and rolling hills inhabited by wildlife with views that will take your breath away. Everything about Agriturismo Madonna dell'Arco is consistent with the excellence you would expect --thank you Giovanni and Angela (and your family who we often saw helping out) and Giuseppe for your warm hospitality!
