We choose the Villa Cipriani for our 2 days rest after our wedding and it was the best thing we have done!! Pricy but very nice, so nice that I will stay there again soon!
The pool is amazing and the Asolo is a gem on the hills!

Wonderful hotel located in the beatiful hill top town of Asolo. Wonderful gardens and views of the mountains and country side, beautifully situated swimming pool. Great restaurant with great service and tasteful and well presented food. Breakfast and dinner facing the garden is a real treat. Only down side was the "singing plumbing" perhaps to be expected in an old hotel. Very helpful front desk manager and concierge. Would like to return and will recommend.
Ken Foxcroft.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a balcony and views of the country side

We stayed here with two American friends in early May and can't wait to return. This is a luxury hotel but not in the modern style. It is supremely comfortable, and feels more like staying in an old-fashioned English country house than a hotel It is small, only 31 rooms, and some of the rooms are small too. The bathrooms look quite old-fashioned, with beautiful tiles, but the baths are deep and the water boiling hot. The beds are blissful, with beautiful linens. There is a lovely peaceful garden with roses and pomegranate trees where you can have an aperitivo before dinner, and you can dine outside in summer. We had a delicious dinner of elegant Italian food( the gnocchi were exquisite) and breakfast is a delight too, including home-made breads, good juice and excellent coffee - and prosecco ! Above all the service is discreet, professional but very friendly. They really seem to care about the comfort and happiness of their guests.

Room Tip: If you are staying more than one night or for a special celebration it's worth paying for a de l...

You must go there once in your life time. During the summer the weather is perfect, hot but dry. It has this chrame of the old Italy with all the amenities that you are expecting for top hotel.

The dinner is served out side on the terrace or in Inside. If the weather is nice est out side it is memorable. Have a drink before et after dinner looking at the valley cover with olive trees and grapes.

Room Tip: One of kind but reseve early they are very busy!

Set on a hillside just a block from the main piazza( square) in Asolo. Large pool and patio judt below the hotel with lovely view of the valley below and the hills beyond. Breathtaking.
Gardens are beautiful with outdoor restaurant seating for summer.
Loved the bar with English hunting theme! and leather chairs.
Rooms are lovely, with classic decor, and bathrooms are modern. There is a parking lot across the street which is essential as the streets do not allow parking : best to reserve ahead.
This is a perfect honeymoon place and has been known to host celebrities as well.
Dinner in the restaurant was great, and breakfast very good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful with maps and directions when it came time to depart.

Room Tip: Many rooms have corners with views of several valleys or sides.

Because I booked this hotel so far in advance (nearly a year), we were given a free upgrade to a junior suite when we arrived. The views from every window were simply magnificent: the gorgeous valley, rolling hills, vineyards and farms. Just incredible. The staff here were helpful and friendly. We ate two dinners and a lunch at the restaurant and every bite was pure ambrosia. You can sit in the garden, have a glass of wine and take in the amazing scenery surrounded by flowers, shrubs and pomegranate trees. Beautiful. The breakfast is ok, fruit and pastries, but you can pay extra and have eggs or other hot meals if you like.

I value my travel dollar and this was money well spent. I would underscore all other positive reviews and add that pictures do not do this place justice. The villa is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and detailed as no modern place can be. But make no mistake, it is incredibly elegant. The rooms are large, comfortable, with good mattresses and pillow. My room looked out onto a mature persimmon tree ripe with fall fruit, the garden below, and the olive and vineyarded hills falling away to the Venetian plain. The staff was gracious but not unctuous--Camelo especially, at the front desk, exuded an infectious joie de vivre that would ensure all's right in the world. The gentleman who ported our luggage and parked our car, come to think of it, was no less charming. The garden is delicious, resplendent with the aforementioned persimmon, climbing roses, tea roses, olive trees, dogwoods, and the like. The crowd appeared to be about 60% Italian this time of year, the rest equally mixed other Europeans and Americans and the town not overly touristed in the least.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Villa, a few steps from the heart of the walled town of Asolo, with its marked characteristic of noble country house, consists of two buildings overlooking the manicured garden that changes colors every season: invaded by tulips in April, a cascade of fragrant roses in May and gradually alternating scents (memorable than the old olea fragrans) and colors changing every month. Not to forget the impressive pomegranate tree in front of the terrace. The hotel has 30 rooms, divided between the Villa and the Garden house, all furnished and decorated with examples of local craftsmanship. Exposed beams, parquet floors and bathrooms decorated with flowered tiles from Vietri a Mare. The restaurant and the American Bar are open all day and offer an elegant setting for a dinner and a refined atmosphere for lunch with a stunning view of the surrounding hills and plains. The Villa can accommodate receptions up to 130 people, corporate retreats and conferences in a place to find the right concentration and creativity. The list of illustrious guests could be endless: the Queen Mother of England, Prince Philip of Edinburgh, Juliana of the Netherlands; actors such as Marcello Mastroianni, Vittorio de Sica, Orson Welles, Peter O'Toole, Catherine Deneuve, Sharon Stone and Kim Basinger; international nobility, captains of industry and patrons like Onassis and Romiti. Names leaked through the cracks of an iron curtain of confidentiality, hotel prerogative to protect a quiet weekend, a romantic interlude or a stay focused on gastronomy. ... more   less
