"Do None" is exactly als described: a little place of heaven with a hundred horizons! The place is beautifully restaured, the appartments are truly magnificent and clean, the terrace is a dream to relax or to take your morning coffee or your aperitivo Asolo is very good situated to visit the most beautiful places in the region. We stayed for ten days in 'Do None' and we enjoyed our visits to Marostica, Bassano del Grappa, Vicenza, Venice, Padova, Treviso, Monte del Grappa, Verona and some of the villa's of Palladio. We did nog have the chance to meet Davide in person, but he took care of us via text messages and his mother was very welcoming and caring for us! We loved our stay and hope to go back one day!

“Great Host, Great Location”
Reviewed 3 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Do None is a wonderful location). The view of the mountains from our bathroom and kitchen windows was fantastic. I never got tiered of it nad we stayed a month. The two apartments adjoin a small farm with chickens, geese, cows and numerous dogs and cats meandering around and forming the soundscape of the place both day and night, so if the sound of a rooster crowing or cow mooing nearby at dawn will annoy you, perhaps somewhere less rural would suit you better, The apartments are small but very comfortable for a couple. I would have found it very tight and claustrophobic if we had been more than two and the sofabed had been needed. it would have occupied almost all the living space. Davide, the owner has taken a lot of care with the design and fixtures. The furnishings are not the cheap Ikea fittings I have come across in many of the other gites and rentals I have stayed in, but much better quality. The bed, reached up a very stable and easy to use ladder, set beneath a sloped ceiling, was very comfortable. There are lots of windows with blinds and shades. The bathroom is modern with a great shower, heated towel rail, and a good space. The kitchenette is small and tight. but serviceable. You could not cook a big dinner but simple meals can be prepared just fine. There is a big shelving unit with plenty of space for clothes and gear.
Davide himself is a wonderful host, really welcoming and friendly, lots of good ideas for places to go and how to get there, and thoroughly charming.
This place is a great base for the incredible cycling and hiking and historic sites the region has to offer. I hope to get back there next year.

Two caveats to add. You really need a car for Do None to work for you. Though highly convenient for visiting places like Venice, Padua, Asolo, it is a bit off the beaten path (this was a plus for me. but I had a car). Secondly, If the adjoining apartment is occupied, unless you are used to living with roommates, it can be a little uncomfortable. There is no soundproofing in the wall between the two units so you can hear every cough, every sneeze, every footstep... If you are a light sleeper, then you may find the time you can go to sleep and the time you wake up accidentally dictated to you by your neighbors schedule. You will know when they turn in for the night and what time they get up in the morning. If you are a heavy sleeper, then you will not have any problem. We had very considerate neighbors but however quiet they were we could still hear almost all their conversations and movements. If a couple had stayed next door with young children, I think it would not have been pleasant for us.
