We stopped by the hotel and got excited by the great interior and superb inner courtyard. Spontaniously we decided to stay for lunch with our daughter. The had a big menue to choose from and we took various dishes which were all perfectly made and presented. The Service also was very helpful and despite it had its price we can recommend the place without hesitation.

What a lovely hotel! We stayed in "La Familia" and just loved it, nice terrace in the shadow of a cotton three. Great restaurant, 4 course gourmet dinner and really nice wines.
Luxury all over, all rooms decorated so nice. Breakfast under the patio just great.
We will be back!!!

This is a unique and attractive hotel catering to a select customer.
We were the only non-Germans in the place and it did seem to be focused on that market.
Our room was in the attic space and while large and comfortable, it would apear that the first floor rooms are the prefered choice. There was a huge bathroom with a turbo bath which was fun but definitely too wee for sharing.
The roof terrace was certainly very private but a bit claustrophobic.
The outdoor pool is small with limited loungers surrounding it.
At breakfast I was offered " ham and eggs" which turned out to be a badly fried egg and two pieces of bacon, burnt to a crisp! I think this was an attempt to cater for a British guest.
Definitely an experience but not to be repeated!

Room Tip: I only have experience of a top floor room which was large and comfortable but had a low sloping roo...

We planned to drive past Arta - but we saw it from the road and there was no way we could drive by without visiting. We took the car up to the car park to have a look around. It's slightly off the beaten track so very quiet. We popped into this hotel for a coffee and we were really impressed by the elegant charm of the place. A boutique hotel with all of the tranquility of a retreat. We plan to stay here on our next trip to Majorca.

My fiancé and I went to Arta for one night and had lovely dinner and bottle of wine in Sant Salvador. The hotel is quirky and finished to a fantastic level. The lady owner is lovely and shared the history of the old mansion house and renovation experience. A must in Arta

This was our 3rd consecutive August stay. We stay on a bed and breakfast basis and tend to book one of the two top floor suites with terrace, which have lovely views over the rooftops of the town. Whilst this hotel is on the edge of the town, it remains very quiet at night. You can open windows at night as there are very few mossies - little need for aircon as the breeze through open windows is lovely. It is a very small hotel with beautiful rooms and staff are very unobtrusive. In fact we have arrived at the hotel in an afternoon and had to look for staff. That is not to say nobody is there to assist you, just that the atmosphere is very laid back! If your room is on the top floor there are forty odd steps to climb - NO lift. The restaurant is excellent and we tend to eat there 2 or 3 times a week. It is expensive, but well worth it. We couldn't eat there every night for a week as the menu doesn't change much. Anyway we like to explore all restaurants in Arta and surrounding towns. We return here for the beautiful surroundings, quality of food, quality of service and very relaxed atmosphere. We love it!

Room Tip: Hotel has very pleasant musical evenings 2 or 3 times a month, so rooms fronting the courtyard may b...

We stayed at this hotel for five nights and enjoyed most of our stay. The staff is extremely friendly, the hotel as clean as possible. Breakfast is a treat.
The garden is small but well maintained with some great mediteranean plants. The swimming is small but sufficient. The only disadvantage is that the swimming pool is next to the breakfast/lunch/dining area of the restaurant which restricts the hours that one can really enjoy the garden and the pool.

Our room was always well maintained but, unfortunately, had some negatives.
We stayed on the second floor where the rooms, caused by building restrictions, have only small low windows that do not offer a good look outside. The same goes for the small terrace that does not really improve on the somewhat claustrofobic experience of the room.
The bedroom has a wooden floor and this one can hear. The floor cracks from all sides when walked on. Quietly slipping to the bathroom at night is not an option.

Other than that we can only be positive about our stay. Diner is good to very good.

Having seen the rooms on the first floor which have large windows make sure you ask not to stay on the second floor when you book. This will guarantee you a near perfect holiday experience.

Dear Janil,
the truth is that we have 50% fans of the first floor 50% fans of the second floor (this is good for us!!!).... and from a stay of more then 3 days you can choose the room, and many of our guests do that!
