Attraction has grown from a private garden into a spectacular estate with hilly walkways containing an extensive collection of cacti and succulents and a lakeside meander along a pampus planted pathway. Access from Ses Salines was good, car parking excellent with the attraction supported by basic onsite facilities. Will definitely return in late Spring when the flowers are out.

This place is quite spectacular and differenct if you are used to the gardens of northern Europe. The cactus are quite unearthly and other worldly. Around the lake are great drifts of Pampas (?) grass. It is not only worth visit but worth a detour. And spare some time for a visit to the nearby town of Ses Salines.
But this place is woefully lacking in information about the plants, the history of the garden, the vision behind it, the opportunity to buy a decent a book about cacti or even a post card. And if you are thinking of having a bite to eat there forget it! It's not my role to tell the owners how to market it but they are missing a trick by not having a decent visitors center!

We visited Botanicactus because it sounded different from the usual garden and we were not disappointed. I covers a large area and has plenty of plants to view, especially as you might guess, cacti! In the heat it is rather exposed but there are shady areas with benches and picnic areas as well.
It was rather dry and the lake looked very empty but generally we enjoyed our visit. It was quiet and relaxing.
We felt that there could have been more information and perhaps a map given out at the entrance or maps on the way round. At 9.5 euros each it was rather on the expensive side but worth a visit

We did enjoy a 2 hour visit - the gardens are beautiful. However, there is very little in terms of signage and description so you do not learn much about the plants. We would have liked to learn more about the cacti as well as the agricultural garden of Majorca part.

We only found this place because it was advertised on the car hire firm's free map! We did a quick bit of googling and realised that it was our sort of place, so off we went. The garden is divided into several 'zones', and crammed with all sorts of plants, although mainly cacti and succulents - it's unlike any other garden we've visited. It covers several acres, so you'll need walking shoes if you want to explore all of it, although actually there's plenty to see near the entrance if you don't want to go far. It's probably not a place to go if it's very hot, as the main central zone has hardly any shade and is mostly cacti and succulents, so there's very little to protect you from the heat. One word of warning - although they do have food, it's not very substantial. We had baguettes (pre-packaged and heated in a toaster oven) and they were OK, but nothing special. Having said that, we will definitely visit again next time we're in Mallorca.
