If you like driving (or cycling) up a twisting mountain road, you'll enjoy this route. Once you arrive at the top, some 510mts high, the views are fantastic. We went up recently on a fairly dull day but still found it a great place to visit.

If you are holidaying in the Felanitx, Cala d' Or area, this is a great half day outing. It's a challenging drive and it's even more challenging on a mountain bike but it's well worth the effort either way. It was very quiet when we visited and that was pleasant. Stunning views and a pleasant cafeteria for refreshments.

I find it difficult to say anything that hasn't been mentioned in other reviews. There is a clearly marked turning about 2km south of Felanitx leading to a road with an awful lot of hairpin bends. When you get to the top there is a large parking area with a statue of Christ at one end and a short walk up to the sanctuary at the other. There is also a huge crucifix on an adjacent hilltop. There isn't much to see at the sanctuary but it's worth a quick look around. The best things about a visit here are the views and the peace and quiet, which in Majorca in summer is pretty unusual.

me,my partner and two friends went to mallorca at the end of june for 11 days,we went on an excursion to the santuary on a sunday, the excursion included a trip up to the santuary and then to the market in felanitx,we went on a coach up to the santuary which was fun watching it squeeze up the tight windy roads! but when we reached the top the views were amazing, its so quiet and peaceful up there, you can just admire the views and watch the world go by.the monastery is a nice place to walk around, and there is a statue of a cross up there too,and a huge statue with a monument of jesus christ on the top, which is where i proposed to my partner while we were there, overall was a really nice relaxing day out,if you get the chance, give it a visit

The road is well sign posted but quite narrow and steep, however it is not busy, so it's not really bad and may be a good practice prior to cap Formentor. The place consists of three peaks with three different but equally impressive panoramic views. The sanctuary is quite rustic but charming.
A great place full of tranquility and peace.
