This hotel is fab. The staff stand out due to their friendliness and efficiency. The food was amazing, we went half board and also ate at the poolside cafe, we thoroughly enjoyed it all. The breakfast (including cava!) was one of the best spreads I have seen. Swimming and reading and relaxing, funnily enough we can't wait to return!

We stayed with them for a week (half board) -
The hotel is great - great rooms, very clean.
The staff is the best - they really help you with everything.
The poolguy is great - he plays with the kids and helps with sunbeds.

If you will be sure to have a sunbed by the pool after 10.00 you have to go down
to the pool early (8.00) and pick a sunbed and place you towell on it..
this is no different from other hotels.

the breakfast buffet is like i have seen on other hotels - pretty standard.
we did eat dinner there once - the food was not good and didnt even consider
dining there again.. we actually felt sorry for the ppl sitting there in the evening
eating .. we went out - dining at: Vent de Tramuntana - glad i found that..

We rented a motorcycle too - 270 eurs for 4 days - it was great. (hotel helped with that)

Taxi from airport aprx. 50 eurs.

Theres no supermarket at hotel - but theres one 5 mins. walk from there...

Would we come back - YES YES YES!!

i would not recommend this if you have small kids - this is no typical "kids" hotel!

Room Tip: we stayed in the block behind the one with poolview - it was great, quite..

This hotel is in a quiet part of Majorca, which specialises in nice restaurants and sailing. The hotel is a great part of the town. It has a great view of the harbour but is far enough away not to have stray visitors.
We enjoyed our stay as the rooms were fairly spacious and had great air conditioning.
Our breakfast was a fantastic way to start the day. It was varied and full of taste. Lunch was mainly snacks but well presented in a poolside bar.all service was fast and friendly.
We did not eat at the hotel at night, but the food looked good.
The pool and sunbathing area was clean and a pleasure to use. The young man looking after the chairs was so helpful and very engaging with all ages.
I wanted a quiet break away from phones and hustle. This I got with abundance. Would return without a second thought.

My wife and I stayed during the first week of July 2014 and found the hotel to be excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and keen to help. Victor on reception was especially helpful and the Poole attendant (Alien, I think?) was always happy, polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was extremely varied and catered for all tastes and cultures. WE didn't eat dinner at the hotel but used the Poole bar most days for a drink and a lunch from the varied menu (anything from salads, sandwiches & pizzas to a steak). Our room was in block 6 and was one of the more modern rooms with good facilities and an excellent walk in shower. The Poole area is split into 3 levels which we never found crowded and we could pretty much always find a sunbed (with cushions and towels provided) although there were quite a few people laying towels out before breakfast in the best positions! Overall the hotel was very recommendable and worthy of a 4* status when compared to other Spanish hotels we have visited.
The Port of Andratx was really lovely, no beach but a 20 minute easy walk from the hotel to the main hub of the port was well worth it each evening. (Tip - when walking to the other side of the port from the hotel, walk along inside the marina for a nicer view of the boats rather than walking along the pavement - it brings you out to the same place eventually). Many very nice restaurants to choose from along the waters edge but also a few nice ones along the street one block back from the water near the church. There were a couple of bars along the front (the corner near to Tim's bar being the most enjoyable to visit) but this is definitely not a place for lager louts and you can tell there is 'money' in the area. We would definitely return.

Nice place. Good rooms. Nice pool and breakfast. The irritating thing is the extra charges. No free wi-fi. Paying extra for wi-fi and for the use of the in-room safe is just soo old school, cheap and irritating. Why? Else a good 4 star hotel (what you expert really...nothing more nothing less). No beach access as there are few and tiny beaches in the village. 5 min walk to the yacht port and 15 min walk to any real selection of restaurants.

Enjoyed a three night stay here. Hotel is a ten minutes walk to the main port, but the walk is easy, not steep and no problem for those with young children. The hotel was really lovely, great breakfast buffet, brilliant pool area and helpful and friendly staff. Stayed in a junior suite great size for a family of four. We used the pool bar for lunch and were impressed by the quality of food and service. We left wanting more and would definitely go back.

We have just come back from a 10 day stay at this hotel and would have liked to stay longer. It is a lovely hotel with perfectly manicured grounds and gardens - perfect for a relaxing stay. We had a standard room which had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated. A lovely terrace surrounded in flowers overlooked the pool. All very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was varied and delicious - plenty of choice - even bubbly if you wanted!
We did not eat in the hotel in the evening - there was plenty of choice in the town - not all as expensive as you would think, and the atmosphere in the evening was great - plenty of people-watching.
We had a hire car (plenty of parking space at the hotel) and used the hotel as a base to tour the area, it was an ideal location for driving into Palma and the surrounding area and also into the mountains to the North - plenty of stunning scenery and pretty towns to explore.
So, a great experience, we hope and plan to return soon and will definitely stay at Mon Port again!
