“beautiful setting and lovely dinner”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

Eating on the port is always gorgeous and Cala Llamp is a great choice. Perfect sole and crispy potatoes, delicious wine. It's far along the port towards the end so it sits next to rocks for the kids to play and doesn't have the main road behind you, so a good choice with kids too.

“Lovely Food, stunning location and excellent service”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Having just moved to the South of Mallorca from the North, we spent a half day meandering in Port d'Andratx earlier this week with our grown up daughter who was on holiday with us. The weather was hot, so we decided that a lazy lunch was the best way to take in the lovely views and laid back atmosphere of the port. The harbour front is lined with restaurants, all of which look lovely, so it is fair to say that you are spoiled for choice. We were drawn in to Cala Llamp because of the position at the end of the harbour, very private and discreet; the presentation of the tables was impeccable, as was the attention and service of the staff. We also liked the balance of the set menu, at the fabulous price of 17.50 euro per person for three courses. We weren't disappointed with our choices. Back to the service for a moment, the maître d and waiter could not have been more helpful, the service was formal without being stuffy, everything arrived beautifully presented and without any fuss, suddenly a plate of beautiful food was before you. My daugther and I chose mussels (mejilllones) that were as fresh as can be, with a gorgeous tomato sauce with a spicy kick, whilst my husband opted for the mixed tapas, which looked and tasted delicious. We then shared a mixed paella, with Brian trying the suckling pig - really beautifully cooked, soft, unctuous and herby. The paella was an excellent portion with seafood and meat/chicken - we couldn't finish it. We followed the mains with deserts of tiramisu and a divine white and dark chocolate mouse - heavenly. Drinks and a couple of beers (no wine) brought the bill to a very well priced 79 euros for three. We spent almost two hours drinking in the atmosphere and the views, watching folks messing about in boats, and enjoying what felt like a very expensive lunch in a lovely setting. We will definitely be returning to Cala Llamp, we're going to have an evening visit next time. Can't recommend highly enough. Keep up the high standards!!

“Great value and worth the walk!”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

Cala Llamp is situated at the end of the harbour in Andratx and is definitely worth the walk. My parents and I each had the three course menu of the day for 17.50€, which was excellent value.

The food was lovely - the mixed tapas starter being the most beautifully presented dish of our holiday - and the portions generous. The service was absolutely wonderful: extremely attentive and unobtrusive, and of the highest standard. The setting on the bay was absolutely stunning and we passed a very happy couple of hours here.

Highly recommend!

“A nice surprise in great location!”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Frequent visitors to Port Andratx and decided to have waterfront dining at Rocomar but his was full. Went next door to Cala Lamp. We had fried baby squid and paella for 2. ! 1 bottle of the house red. The view was spectacular. The service was very attentive and friendly. The squid adn abtter was very tasy and fresh. I am not a greta Paella fan but iwas very aceptable. All in all a very pleasnt experience and would go back. Well worth try and reasonably priced for quality and location. Give it a chance!

“Ate here twice!”
Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

I'm surprised this only has the 1 review but I'm guessing because it's right at the end of the port bar 1 more restaurant then it's getting over looked.
We had lunch here once and we were right next to the water. Had paella which was lovely and the waiter is sooooooo nice. The other time we visited was for dinner. You can also sit at a table on the rocks if you like! I liked it because it was clean and liked the blue and white colour scheme. It's not expensive, €15/€22 a head for mixed/seafood paella. House whites nice too. Sure it will go up in the rankings soon enough.
