“Lovely house”
Reviewed 13 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We spent a weekend here for a 'sensible' hen weekend had a great time, rooms are very nicely decorated and well equipped there were 12 of us in total and myself and 2 others shared the downstairs bedroom which was large although 1 bed was a fold out bed we all managed very well. there is a downstairs toilet which was convenient and 2 upstairs bathrooms with good showers. it is all very well decorated and the little garden was lovely on one sunny evening. We also used the recommended Chef who cooked us a lovely meal enjoyed by all of us and they very patiently worked around our murder mystery event between courses. parking is on the road and although we had several cars we all found places to park would recommend this house had a very enjoyable weekend.

“Fab period house, spotless, in a quiet street - can't fault it”
Reviewed 7 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Our group was a group of friends, plus 4 children aged 4-7. There were 10 of us in total and this house was perfect for us. It was fantastic - quirky with lovely original features. Totally spotless and well furnished with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Lee was really helpful and gave us lots of useful information on the area. I was concerned about the lack of parking, but the house is on a really quiet street and we had 3 cars and parked outside without problem. 10 mins walk to the ferry for Gun Wharf Quays. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

“Great house, and effortless party planning with the company”
Reviewed 21 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

All of the hens had a fantastic time. The house itself is large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably, and is decorated beautifully giving the place a real luxurious feel. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds and bedding was, and we all had a lovely nights sleep. The games table was a great addition, and the optional hot tub was just fantastic. Again, every one of us thought the food cooked by your chef Lester was delicious. It was beautifully presented and of a high standard, the perfect end to the weekend.

“Very good”
Reviewed 30 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We all absolutely loved the house, it was beautifully presented and very relaxing and practical. Mandy who met us was so warm and helpful and I especially appreciated her dropping a leaflet off which she thought would be useful for a day out with the kids. The cube beds were apparently very comfortable as were all the main beds and the house was so well designed that the bedrooms were quiet when we wanted the children asleep but we could stay up and talk ourselves. The house is in an excellent area for shopping, food and loads for the kids to do. We would love to come again and explore more of the area as we loved catching the ferry over to the dock yard.

“Beautiful home and ideal location. Loved it thank you”
Reviewed 29 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

It was a real pleasure dealing with Complete Holiday Homes to arrange our holiday. Their communication skills and helpfulness is outstanding and far exceeds other companies I have used in the past. An enjoyable experience from the minute I enquired. Peel house itself is beautiful and the lady who greeted us was also fantastic and friendly. The house was the best equipped holiday home I have ever stayed at and the location was just perfect for us as we liked to pop across on the ferry to Gunwharf. I would certainly stay again but this time for longer. Thank you for a lovely holiday and for leaving milk in the fridge as it's such a help when you first arrive. The boys loved the pool table and the ping pong as did I. Fantastic house and great time was had by all. - Ledingham, July 2014

“Absolutely Stunning, Couldn't be Happier”

We decided to book Peel House for our annual party and the entire process from start to finish was hassle free. The booking agent was always on hand to give advice and catered for our every need. The check in was simple and the person we met even helped us with the luggage!

The property itself is located in a clean and quite street, a stones throw from the high street and the property was as described and shown in the photos. The table was laid and all the beds made up as requested and the comfort and quality did not disappoint. Having WiFi access and a range of entertainment consoles including Wii and Sky was excellent.

We were lucky enough with the weather and made full use of the beautiful garden. The property backs onto other gardens and they do request being respectful of the neighbours after 9pm.

Being so close to the high street meant that you had takeaways, supermarkets and other shops all within easy reach. When we arrived there were tea and coffee already in the house and when we left we had access to cleaning products and bin bags which we thought was a nice touch.

The one thing that made the property perfect for us was that it was a short walk or taxi ride (available 24 hours a day) to the ferry port where you have a 7.5 minute ride over to Gunwharf Quays. The ferries run pretty much 24 hours a day and so after a night out you can always get back home - surprisingly it's easier than it sounds!

Overall I would highly recommend Peel House for any kind of stay as they seem to cater for most parties. As long as you respect the property and neighbours then Peel House offers comfortable accommodation in a great location all at an affordable price.
