“Lovely friendly coffee shop”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

I've ward past this cafe many times and finally went in the other day having seen a sign saying they catered for gluten free and vegans. I ordered a take out lunch the falafel pitta bread with hummus and salad, this was the vegan option with hummus and not the mint yoghurt dip.
Food is freshly prepared so there is a slight wait but that's fine as it was nice to sit and have a look at the menu and surroundings.
What strikes you is the friendly relaxed atmosphere - its a lovely mix of quirky yet just right furnishings and decor. The drinks menu looks wonderful - lots of options and soya milk which is good for me as a vegan. The staff are friendly and very down to earth keen to make your visit a good one.
My lunch was delicious - very fresh and you could tell the falafel and hummus were homemade.
I shall be planning another visit soon.

“Watch out Costa”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

This little coffee shop rightly prides itself on the wholesome, home made, delicious food it serves. For the past two weeks I have relished their bacon and red onion quiche, which is a homemade wonder of truly exceptional proportions. Their coffee is gorgeous, the range of leaf teas astounding and the quality of service superb, friendly and welcoming, which explains why me and my friend Kate have gone back week after week. The ambience is so relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. I love the kitsch décor and the artwork (on sale). There needs to be more coffee houses like this because it knocks spots off all of the others. Thank you Coffee Collective, keep on doing what you are doing.

“Warm welcome every.time”
Reviewed 16 May 2014 via mobile

This is a lovely little cafe, tucked away.between shops so don't miss it. Always a warm welcome, staff make you feel like a friend, will always help out by carrying your order to the table, warming babies bottles, always cleaning tables. Food is always fresh and homemade. Excellent little place to meet friends for a chat and a snack. Make time and call in.

“Exceptional experience”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

Possibly the best cafe I have ever been too. Special children's drinks, gluten-free cakes, hot chocolate to die for and the friendliest, most helpful staff I have ever encountered. Plus the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere quirky and quaint. All-round thumbs up.
