Description: The Bay Hotel is a traditional real ale pub and restaurant. We offer a great range of real ales including our 4 regular bitters brewed by the local Bushy's brewery as well as seasonal English guest ales. We also offer a wide range of whisky, wines and spirits, including a lovely range of popular rums. We serve homemade, delicious food using mainly local produce. It is served 7 days a week with your choice of eating in the restaurant part with a lovely table service or in the bar side. There's also the outside decking seating area for the warm months. We are a small business and we always aim to please and welcome our customers as that is our main priority. We are dog friendly too, so for those with a well behaved four legged friend, you are more than welcome to visit our bar area, whether it is for a great local pint of bitter or just a cup of coffee, the choice is yours.

“Very good ales and food.”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

We visited here on one rainy Saturday evening recently during our holiday. However when inside there was a very friendly welcome and we soon felt much better.
This was much enhanced with an excellent pint of beer and very good wholesome food.
The Bay is well located right on the beach at Port Erin, with gorgeous views across the bay, when it's not raining.
This is a traditional style Pub and well worth a visit.
I will be returning during our break.

“great pub and food”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

Love this place. Sells some really good local ales and has a real pub atmosphere about it, of course right on the beach with outside seating. The food is good homemade food, fresh chips and they do fabulous Queenies. Great value for money. Staff are friendly. A jewel in the crown.

“Great food, great location, great find!!”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Found this pub after asking a local for recommendations for somewhere to eat on a Friday night when visiting Port Erin. Staff were very helpful - we hadn't booked and although they had no room inside we were able to sit outside on a beautiful sunny evening facing out to the beach. Real good pub grub, all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great portions and reasonable wait for food to be served. Would definitely recommend this place for food when on the Island- all in a glorious setting.

Good selection of beer including the local Bushey ale. Food is good pub grub, nothing flashy but satisfying.

“Nice Lunch”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

We travelled to Port Erin on the steam train. We found this pub and were pleased that we did. The sandwiches we had were lovely, definitely recommend the beef, ham and crab sandwiches served in warm ciabatta bread. The fillings were excellent and portions were good. Hot dog that one of our party had was disappointing as it was not a proper hot dog. Staff were friendly and helpful.
