We visited the Cosy Nook Café to have lunch on a recent trip to Port Erin.
The food was inexpensive and really lovely (we both had a baked potato with coleslaw and salad followed by a scone filled with jam and cream and a hot chocolate), very well cooked and plentiful (the portions were very large) and extremely tasty.
The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. All our food arrived quickly (and we were there on a very busy day) and was nicely cooked.
The picturesque location of the café (it’s right on the beach next to a lighthouse) made it all the more special. I would definitely visit again, and again and again!
You couldn't have a more picturesque setting for a cafe or a warmer and more friendly welcome from the owners and the staff. Nestling between a lighthouse, the cliffs and the sea and sandy beach, the Cosy Nook offers a great selection of food, snacks and hot drinks to suit every taste and pocket. We loved this cafe and went every day for a good few hours. A must if you are lucky to be in Port Erin.
Had breakfast at this lovely cafe every day of our holiday after walking our dog on the brilliant beach. The staff and owner were really friendly, the food was great and there can't be many better seaside views in the UK. Our dog was happy too as there was always clean water and she was allowed to lie beside us at the table outside. You need to wrap up warm if the weather's chilly but who goes on a British beach holiday to risk sunstroke?
The Cosy Nook is in the most beautiful location in Port Erin. The menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable. When / if the weather is inclement (!!!) there is the most amazing indoor area with old pictures of Port Erin on the walls. The welcome and service are faultless, even at the busiest times, and the breakfast bacon baps are a treat to savour. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the experience.
