Last week whilst in Tarbert again I revisted Scotts Bistro on the harbour front. As before I was greeted with a very warm welcome and mouth watering menu! I went for the mackrel pate followed by scollops and salad. I just love fish dishes and I was not disappointed! The freshly homemade mackrel pate was delicious and went so well with the scottish oatcakes. And as for the scollops, well they were amazing! Cooked just right and so they went down a treat especially with the recommended New Zealanf wine! Mmmmm!
I finished the meal with one of their Illy coffees.
As before the service was excellent and personal. It's a great family run Bistro and has to be a "must" if visiting Tarbert!
