“Super food and very good service.”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

On entering the restaurant I was very impressed by the design of the interior and the lovely and unique design of the furniture.
We received a warm welcome and enjoyed good service. Tarbert is renowned for its fish and sea food and we certainly enjoyed the starter of scallops with bacon which was delicious. We followed this with a main course of scallops and chorizo linguine which was excellent. One of the group enjoyed two rather large sea bass fillets which were beautifully cooked.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit.

“Lovely little bistro with nice attention to detail”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Dined here recently as a family. Picked it as the chalkboard outside stated seafood and fresh pizzas so would keep parents and children happy.

Décor is lovely and fresh, just what you want to see in a seaside bistro.

Service was great despite it being a one woman show and she also checked in guests as this was a bistro with rooms.

Great selection of wine and beer.

As well as the light nibbles to share, we ordered three pizzas and the scallops/chorizo/linguine. Pizzas were made to order and were 12" and looked great. To be honest, everyone who had pizza found them a little on the greasy side but all plates were cleared. My scallops and chorizo with linguine I also found a tad greasy but scoffed it all none the less. Just as a comparison, at the Lord of the Isles Hotel in Craobh I had scallops served with chopped chorizo and chopped fried potatoes as a starter. I got four scallops and the price was £8.95. The main course here was over £15 and got five scallops with a lot of linguine.

That said, maybe I'm just fussy, this was a lovely wee place with a lovely relaxing vibe and I would go again.

“Fantastic food!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

We had dinner here and both really enjoyed it! Neither of us are big seafood fans (I know - a total shame), so we had soup (with their homemade ciabatta - wow!!), bruschetta and pizzas. Everything was so, so good! Definitely give this place a try.

“Fabulous fresh food”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

We went for a meal & were not disappointed. We both had seafood for our starter & main but there was plenty of choice. It was well priced & sizeable portions. It is a lovely family run bistro with a great atmosphere.
