New Owners took over hotel at beginning of summer and they are currently trying to upgrade many things, the bedrooms and sitting area amongst them.
ALL the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful about where to go and what to see, the restaurant looks out over west loch bay and it was spectacular to sit and look out at the view, and watch the ducks and the occasional fish jumping.
The meals are excellent and a lot of locals eat there which is a defenite sign of the quality and quantity (which is not for the faint hearted)
The rooms were basic but the showers excellent and the water was hot. Would have loved a loch view - but then didnt ask for one so guess that was to be expected ( though he hotel was quiet)
Lots to do in surrrounding areas and would say it is worth visiting for short stays and the food and the views.
