Isabel and Jim are the best host's you will meet, their superb guest house wants for nothing. There is always a warm scottish welcome, once you have visted you will return as you will have this marked in your places to to re - visit.
As you can guess our family have been many times , the trip we make to Isle of Islay can never be complete without a vist to Cuillins.
If you want comfort and quality care this the place for you !

My husband and I went to Tarbert to take part in the Scottish Series (a yachting regatta). We stayed for four nights and I cannot recommend Isabel's hospitality highly enough. We stayed in the front double room, which was very nicely decorated with a sizeable en-suite. The bed was extremely comfortable and I've never seen anything like the breakfast. We had piles of bacon, eggs, sausages, potato scone, black pudding, haggis, fried pancakes and tomato. What an eat! Isabel alos recommended and arranged a booking for us at the little Anchorage restaurant in the village at short notice. It too is worth a visit. We'll be back.

A warm welcome awaits anyone who visits this B+B. Isabel the host, is generous and extremely helpful. The breakfasts are really good and plentiful. We were even given some lovely soap to take away. Tarbert and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning and I can not wait to return.

The Cuillins is a grand place to stay if visiting the lovely village of Tarbert. You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome from Isabel and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. I challenge anyone to finish the full breakfast, which was fantastic. The Cullins is in a very quiet location but just minutes from the shops and facilities. A wee cracker!

Scotland is well known for its wonderful hospitality , and The Cullins ranks amongst the top in Scotland .
This is a remarkable place (hence the review ) and I had the most fantastic overnight here . The welcome was outstanding , with a pot of tea offered to make us feel at home .The beds were so comfortable , with plenty pillows and cushions . The breakfast was a feast , all served with a cheery smile and friendly chat . Put all this together with good value rates and you have the perfect B&B .
I really commend The Cullins , and Isabella deserves all the 5 star reviews she has collected . Thank you Isabella and Jim , I can't wait for an opportunity to return .

What a truly wonderfully warm welcome we all received from Isa who made us feel immediately at home in her beautiful B&B overlooking Tarbert. We were shown to our en-suite bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds covered in gorgeous freshly laundered bed linen with fluffy thick towels folded neatly on the beds. After walking into the centre of the village we came back to relax in the lounge on deep leather sofas to watch TV. Tea, coffee with bone china mugs and yummy sweet treats are offered in every room. We all enjoyed a great nights sleep on superbly comfortable beds. Breakfast is a feast - freshly prepared fruit salad in a beautiful bowl awaits everyone followed by a choice of yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruits, and juices followed by bacon, sausage, haggis, black pudding, potato scone, tomato, mushrooms and eggs are served piping hot on a hot plate - mmm! A choice of white or brown toast with offer of honey, marmalade or jam with lashings of tea or coffee. The whole house offers an oasis of peace and relaxation to the weary traveller and Isa's knowledge of where to go and what to see is so heplful. We cannot extol the virtues of Isa sufficiently in this short review however all we can say is to go and stay at The Cuillins and you will come away knowing you have met and been looked after by one of the finest ambassadors for Scottish tourism!

I stayed at the Cuillins for one night, and was travelling on my own. I was made to feel really welcome and comfortable. I was in the family room which was lovely, homely and welcoming. I had my dog with me, who was also treated like a friend. The breakfast was amazing, while eating it and looking out the window 2 wild deers appeared.A great place to stay, and I hope to be back some day.
