“Good nights sleep”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

All travelodges are mostly the same so all we can say is the place was clean the staff were polite and you know exactly what you will get. As for the positioning on an industrial estate it was quiet for us so couldnt complain

Even though the hotel is situated on an industrial estate? it wasnt noisy to the FRONT of the hotel, however, the noise inside the hotel was extremely annoying, especially with 2 light sleepers in the family! The hotel doors & corridor doors were very loud when they were closed and we spent most of the first night there counting the amount of times the doors were slammed, there was also alot of running up & down the corridors, maybe it would be a good idea to warn other people to respect other guests staying in the hotel. Took a long time to get my own kids off to sleep and on our first night there we did consider checking out if that was going to be like that for the next 4 nights! It was also very hot and stuffy in our front facing bedroom, and the windows didnt open to a decent enough gap?, was way too stuffy! Also there were not enough power points, with me & my husband needing to charge up our mobiles and 2 kids, both with tablets to charge, we were fighting over plug sockets!
However, on a good note, the lady who came in every day to replenish our tea/coffee/sugar, fresh towels & make our beds etc was great. The hotel had good access to all the places we wanted to visit and there was enough parking for everyone at the hotel. One other thing, i think the wifi should have been free to access for the whole duration of your stay, bit of a con to have to pay.

Room Tip: choose a room at the end of a corridor (not in the middle) and at the front of the hotel

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night we have stayed in other Travelodge so we know its clean and OK for a night or two. This hotel is just outside the town, in a industrial estate which it doesn't tell you, which is still OK,all we wanted was to get our heads down as we had been traveling from early the day before so were looking forward to a lay on.there was only 1teadbag and a few coffees pks, and few milk ( which may seem petty but when your tried) so we went down and more teabags and milk The view from the window looked on to the back of which looked like a builders yard, so we were not pleased to hear the sound of a loader bleeping from about 8.45 /9am the next morning.so that put a stop to our lay on so I got up to take a shower to find, there was only 1 small bottle of shower wash ( andi mean very small) which we had been using to wash our hands as there was no soap, I tried ringing reception a few times but no answer. It isn't a bad place but make sure your not n the back rooms near the builders yard, our room was the last room on the second floor I think it was 212.as we were leaving I hear the man in front of me complaining and was looking a refund as he wasn't going to stay a second night I think he was in the room below us as his complaint sounded very like my own, as the receptionist ask how are stay was she was not surprised when I said about being Woke up by the noise. She give me the phone etc for head office to whom I have sent to complaints to and haven't even got an email back to act knowledge they had received it, which is very disappointing.

Room Tip: Stay way from rooms overlooking builders yard.

Easy 10/15 minute walk to town/ station, good hotel, good location, and very helpful staff. Very comfortable room, standard upgraded Travelodge. Could not fault it, and follow the signs to Breaktimes for breakfast. You won't be disappointed

Excellent value for money, but avoid rear facing rooms, as there is a builder`s merchant who use a fork lift from early in the morning. The hotel is situated in an industrial estate (?), but great access to the coastal areas and Snowdonia

Very pleased with our 3 day stay here which was prompted by Travelodges brilliant policy on dogs. The staff were very good and helpful and even our dog felt welcome.
Rooms were immaculately clean and tidy.
The location may seem a bit odd as its on an industrial estate but as a place to sleep and a base for the surrounding area its great.
