We saw some Purple Moose at the Bounce Below cafe and decided to stop by on a whim. Tried the different beers on offer and went home with a crate of elderflower. 5 different beers that would suit all tastes and worth a stop to get a glass (or even a cuddly moose) as well as the beers. Guy at the counter seemed a bit bemused that we wanted to try some beers but other staff were really friendly. Hope they continue to do well!

We booked for the brewery tour and were not disappointed, although we have not been on other to make a comparison.
From the start you could tell just how passionate they are about the product, the attention to detail in the brewing process ensures that the beer is fantastic, no wonder they are winning awards. The tour takes under an hour and explains the processes, the products used and finishes with tasting....perfect.
And the tour is only £5 with a pint glass....beat that for value.

I had seen previous Trip reviewers comments and while touring around North Wales, stopped in Porthmadog for 2 hours and not disappointed. Small shop in Madoc street but a lovely friendly welcome and discussion about the brewery and its beers.
Sampled 5 of the 6 beers. If you like dark beers then either Dark side of the moose or there winter stout called Myrica Gale available Oct-Mar only so I just got in luckily.
Choose your beer and have a presentation box to carry them.
Then they recommended Spooners bar at the railway station on pump where Dark side & Snowdonia were available to drink. Beautiful.
Nice experience.
