We popped into this little museum the other day and found it to be full of interesting and interactive exhibits about the seafaring activities of the area. The museum is based in the last remaining slate shed in Porthmadog harbour and it has an area especially for children which will keep you little ones occupied while you look around the rest of the space. The museum is staffed by volunteers and we were made very welcome the day we visited. There is a fee to enter but it is only a small one and the museum is well worth the price - we would recommend the Maritime Museum to you for a visit.
