the carvans where clean and tidy, but the carvan site in its self was wrongly situated, we were in the middle of a council estate, i am not a snob, but some views of beautiful wales would have been nice. Also i can imagine in peak periods it becomes busy, there was hardly enough things for kids to do.

the site itself is situated next to an industrial estste and on the edge of a rough looking council estate, no scenic views what so ever, i cant fault the accomodation on how clean it was but the toilet seat came off, the shower leaked through to the bedroom carpet, the tv had no remote so you couldn't turn it on and the matresses were uncomfortable. the park has very limited facilities and most close at 4pm ,inc the pool which is one of thier major selling points. the only things open after that were kebab/chip shop and bar, the poolside air was so hot it was like a sauna. i would not say this site has enough facilities to entertain a young family all day and the eveing entertianment is very low rate. i would not go back, there are far more beautiful places in wales to stay with more facilities for the kids, for the same money. However the staff are friendly, polite and helpful

Very disappointed with accommodation. We are not fussy, but the caravan was just terrible - soiled mattresses, stained carpet throughout, moldy curtains, no lounge carpet - just underlay that wasn't tacked down, urine stained smelly duvet's, leaking toilet and Tv with no freeview. The facilities are too small for the size of the park, although the pool is very nice. The park is in the middle of a council estate and industrial park quite far from the beach. We were located a few units away from a family who had a punch up for all to hear at the weekend, followed by witnessing a fist fight outside a 'locals' pub in Rhyl the following day - not what you want to be seeing with young children around! There is also building development in the next field to the park, so expect diggers, crane's and drills from 8am every weekday. Rhyl is a run-down seaside town full of boarded up shops and tired amusements. However, Prestatyn, Snowdonia and Holyhead are well worth a trip to escape this hell-hole. All in all, North Wales is very beautiful but if you are thinking about visiting...go somewhere else!

iv got a friend that as a caravan on site so have stayed few times, but have found the park as gone down hill . last year the indoor pool which is this park big selling point was beautifully heated with lovely hot water in the showers. this year when visited water in pool so cold kids would only stay in for short time and never any hot water in the showers when complained to life guards were told its only hot first part of the day. it seems that this site is now only interested in its owners . i went for a weekend only to find that due to some private owners only casino night the pool was closed from saturday 12 till sunday great hey. then told due to the fact we were only holiday makers and not owners we were not allowed in to the casino night and had to go into the sports bar were there was entertainment for the childrens this never apeared so sat in there with the telly on and a room full of unhappy family holiday makers made to feel like second class . there should have been at lest entertainment for adult and kids in there after all we had paid for it and its on there webiste. i think the owners of the site should have a good think what they want from this site a private residental park or a holiday park because upon speaking to lots of holiday makers that weekend they were very unhappy and will not be going again and from what i can gather the residents thought the whole idea was rubbish to .

we stayed at marine park rhyl 2 weeks august 08.firstly, it is not near the beach ,about 20mins walk.( i did email and ask the distance from the beach i got told close) it is sited on an industrial estate and council housing easate .for families with young children it seemed ok to stay on the park. our teenager would have been bored if we didnt have lots of days out sight seeing. drinks expensive on the site. the fish bar was ok. no pubs around till the town. the pool was ok but busy with little ones. entertainment okish. the site gets a lot of owners from liverpool and manchester and wasnt really friendly and the aggro off a couple of lp fans towards my lad got annoying. beach at rhyl lovely and clean, no dogs allowed.but rhyl is extremely run down and that surprised me as i had a copy of the tourism guide and it was a lot of gloss on it. the sights about, llandudno, conway, snowdon ,great orme , castles about and scenery stunning.the beach cafes not very good. dirty and staff not welcoming. i wont go to this park again ,we will go further round to caenarfon/snowdon next time. all in all the holiday was lovely, it was the location and the unfriendly people on the park . dont stay on the park ,go out .
