“Lovely Long Quiet Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

This lovely beach found on the East Coast of the Island, is perfect for persons looking for a little get away from the busy beaches. It's quite long and you can always find a spot on the white sand without having others encroaching on 'your space'. The sea can be rough, and should only be tried by good swimmers.

“Beautiful view but didn't stay at the beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014 via mobile

I was looking forward to seeing this beach, but wasn't so impressed. Yea the rocks were beautiful and the sea, but after seeing other beaches in the southern and western coast of the island, this is average. The beach was empty and there were just a couple of locals hiding behind the trees. I was scared that they would rub us. Then police car came down and we decided to leave. But you should see the view and take some pictures anyway!

“Common Sense”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2014

I think all the really and well deserved positive aspects of this beach have already been commented on. Its worth noting that you can drive right down to the edge of it with ample parking. There is a large sand bar running along the beach that does somewhat obscure your view back to the trees and the car park when you are at the water's edge. As such the 'beach Police' advised us to move all our possessions (there were five of us) onto the downward slope of the sand bar so that we could keep an eye on our things. We went mid morning and stayed till late afternoon and only saw two other couples in that time. We were not hastled or bothered by anyone 'selling' or 'renting' anything what so ever and coudl not recommend this beach enough for getting away from it all.
Yes there is a decent but not mental undertow and in order to swim beyond the surf you need to be a confident swimmer or at least use fins as an assist. There were no facilities when we were there i.e. vendors so take whatever it is you think you need and enjoy

“Foul Bay - Awesome Beach in Barbados”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014

This is one of my favourite beaches in Barbados. Been coming for 3 years now and have never had any problems. We cycle or walk from where we stay at Zion House Barbados. The sea is choppy here with undercurrents so don't go in if you are not a confident swimmer. We do have a dip when it is calmer but always check if there are any local swimmers in the water. If not we do not recommend you to go in. The beach is stunning, it is so beautiful and quiet. There are no amenities though so make sure you bring a picnic x

“Fab beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

A bit off the beaten track - you will need transport to get to it - this is a real gem. Beautiful expanse of almost deserted beach. Sea was a bit rough for swimming (for me) but lovely to spend a few hours of peace and quiet in such a stunning location. The offer of coke from the guy renting sunbeds was a bit of a surprise but he accepted a polite no thanks!!!
