This small, stylish restaurant deserves five stars. The food is well-prepared, vegetarian and made with local produce. Everything is fresh and freshly-made. The dishes are imaginative and very tasty. Portions are ample. After frequenting restaurants in La Habana and Trinidad, this was a welcome respite from American- inspired and traditional Cuban cuisine. We stayed at the Moka hotel for three days and ate practically every meal at Romero after having tried other restaurants in the area.
