From the first phone call to check out, we had a great experience. We are a couple with a toddler and an infant. The room was great and a stand alone cottage. It had a queen bed and they provided an extra mattress for us. The room was spacious enough to allow a play pack in there as well, and still had room to walk around. The bathroom was very spacious as well and the way it is built, you can come straight into it without getting the room dirty or wet. The view from the room was beautiful. Everything worked and cleanliness was outstanding. Our children enjoyed the room and all amenities. The staff was very nice, and obviously trained in providing great customer service. Something that many establishments in Grenada lack. This feature, set the hotel apart from others in Grenada for us. We have lived here for years. The service at the bar and the restaurant was great. The food was delicious and the chef very friendly and talented. The pool area was nice. They do allow outside visitors and it got a bit rowdy at one point. The beach is beautiful and the view from the restaurant just leaves you speechless. It is at the very top of the island. Therefore you see the islands above it. We will definitely be back hopefully as a couple but if we have to bring the kids again, we will not hesitate since it is a great place for them as well. If you are looking for an escape from business and want to disconnect in a beautiful setting..this is the hotel for you. Thanks to everyone there!!!

Room Tip: I believe all the cottages have a nice view. There are some that are closer to the beach than others but all are recommended. We stayed at Papaya and it was very nice.

Where to start---Room--very spacious and great view of the beach. Breakfast included each day--Was a great way to start--But they do keep to the cutoff time. Great pool and loungers. In preparing for our stay we read all the reviews, and found similar positive experiences. On Sunday they do have a BBQ and there are more non-guests at the hotel. Yes the peace and quiet of the pool area from the rest of the week is affected. But we planned around and were not impacted. Ocean---Lots of concern on "currents"---depends on point of view, growing up on east coast of US, riptides that can knock you over are the norm, the beach had great waves for sponge and body surfing. Great stay--Will be back

This is a long, overdue review. My wife and I stayed here for 8 days back in May 2011 for our honeymoon. The owners, staff, rooms, restuarant, meals, etc. could not have been more pleasant and ideal for a relaxing beach getaway. We stayed in one of the king rooms attached to the main building. The hotel had 11 queen villas and two king rooms. The king rooms had large balconies overlooking the private beach and the queen villas were separate buildings scattered around the property overlooking the beach. They had a nice pool area near the restaurant and bar if you get tired of the beach but still want the water. They will also set up any excursion you want. We rented a car and visited a cocoa factory and a rum distillery. We also went on a snorkeling trip with some local fisherman that took us out to some of the islands and caught fish and grilled them for us right on the beach--fantastic. We had a wonderful time and would definitely like to visit again one day.

Room Tip: All of the rooms have beach views. The queen villas are separate from the main buildings. The two king suites are larger but attached to the main building. If you want a king bed, get the king room. If your ok with a queen bed, go for a villa.

we stayed at Petit Anse as part of a 3 centre holiday with Laluna and Mount Hartman Bay Estate. Petit Anse is the most remote of the three hotels and as someone else said it it a different experience from staying in the south of the island because the roads are bad and you really dont have anything to do if you want to go out. It took a good 2 hours from the airport and it is not a good road. Having arrived at Petit Anse we were warmly welcomed. The room was very rustic and the owner Annie is obviously a character. She rides into the property on a donkey with a pack of dogs following her and is very unconventional. Dont expect this place to be luxury, it isnt but it is charming. The food is good, better than Laluna but not as good as Mount Hartman. The pool is nice and when we were there it was not busy. It does seem to attract an unconventional set of visitors so it would not be good for everyone.

What a great place! It started off with the very helpful and nice Donna upon our arrival. I had several questions and things I wanted to do, she didn't lose a beat and took great care of me. This place was as advertised. We stayed our first few nights in the south on Grand Anse beach which is also nice but it's a different vibe and feel. This place is on the north of the island where things are more relaxed in a somewhat secluded location. It you're looking for fast pace and excitement don't choose this hotel. If you're looking for a great view, location, extremely friendly staff, helpful guide, good food then this is the place for you.
We stayed in COCOA, it's one of the beach front rooms. Each room was it's own separate building. Our sleeping area had a 4 post bed, 2 night stands, 2 desks, closet, fan A/C and a safe. The bathroom has a second entrance from the outside to if you wish to help keep the sand out, you can step in and go right to the shower which is nice. From our room you walk down about 20 steps to the private beach which has a place to shower off prior to going up if you choose. I will give them one small ding here, I think it would have been better if they had some of the help clean up the beach a little daily. This is just to take care of the odd trash and seaweed the comes in each day. They do have boogie boards for you to use if you choose, for me it was the best place I've ever done this. Good long rides in on the waves. The water is fairly shallow but you aren't going to snorkel here, to many waves but good to play around.
The dinning area and bar are very nice along with good food. We included breakfast and dinner with our room. Be advised for dinner you must purchase any drink, that includes pop. You get a 3 course meal ever night, starter, main course and desert. You always had at least 3 choices for each course. I can't begin to say enough how friendly and nice everyone was who worked here. You were always treated with respect and you can tell they care about doing a good job.
We used the hotel to go on a couple of tours. Richie took us on and island tour that was great. He was very informative and professional. My understanding is they use him often and it's easy to see why. We went on the Sandy island tour which was also a lot of fun. Great snorkeling out here and Dragon who gave us a ride there in his boat made us a super lunch he cooked on the fire.
I would go back here in a heart beat if we return to Grenada. We meet the owner the first night and he was also nice and seemed to care if you were getting along well. I'm sure there is more I could say but bottom line the staff and location are just great! Don't think twice about staying here, it's worth your time and money.

Room Tip: Even if you aren't beach front it's not far at all, just a little better view.
