This is our 7th annual stay, but the first time in the spring for my May 1st birthday and the first time in the cottage. Quiet, relaxing and beautifully designed. Best and most comfortable bed we have slept in. We ended up sleeping in until 9 am and normally I am an early riser. As usual, John and Jacquie, the owners, were very caring and sharing, especially surprising me with happy birthday gifts of beautiful colorful spring flowers, thoughtul hand-make birthday card and delicious hand-dipped choocolate hazelnuts.
Our walk around the grounds and gardens was very refreshing for the heart and soul.
Simply put, this bed and breakfast is a must stay and once you do it will surely become your most favorite that you will return to often, as we have every year since they opened.
John and Jacquie, thanks for becoming a very special travel tradition for us. Through all our international and national travels, you remain a very special gem we treasure very highly and appreciate so very much. See you next year.

Our family had a great vacation at the South Garden Bed and Breakfast. We went to the B and B to get some peaceful relaxation, and we sure did! We stayed in the Rose Suite and it was so quiet, fresh and inviting. There was even a crib already set up for our baby in the suite with clean, cozy bedding. The hosts thought of everything and made our trip great. The breakfast was delicious and warm and had great variety to choose from...our favorites were the fresh blueberry muffins and omlettes, amazing!. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Cedars Cottage was cozy and the new decor was welcoming and calming. Just driving onto the yard, we felt like we were totally removed from city life and then entering the cottage on this rainy night felt like we belonged there. Our hosts, John and Jacquie warmly welcomed us and then we were on our own. We were reminded to fill out our breakfast menu, which we always look forward to, and then in the morning,, a quiet knock on the door and a cheery good morning, there it was, a complete hot meal in a basket, magically placed outside our door. We loved the omlet and all the extras that came with it. We will recommend this to our friends, only 1 1/2 hrs from Vancouver. A great place to come to with very little travel time for us.

We stayed at South Garden for four nights with our three kids. It was a perfect place because our kids loved running around in the huge yard, swinging on the hammock, climbling the mountain trails and swimming in the hot tub. We brought some snacks up to the top of the mountain (only 15 min hike) and ate them on their beautiful mountain deck that overlooks the valley. The kids really liked being served breakfast in our suite and being able to choose what they their own menu items. Fantastic memories. We'd definitely stay again.

he couple John and Jacquie (of South Garden BnB) were the loveliest of people, and very welcoming but at the same time respecting our privacy. Each morning we were treated to an awesome home-made breakfast of yogurt and home-made granola mix, piping hot omelets, fresh roasted coffee, and home-baked blueberry scones and banana bran muffins. Needless to say, we didn't need to have lunch after that. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the beds extremely comfortable.

We were two couples touring BC and after a long drive it was like finding an oasis. We selected this B&B purely on location (near to Harrison Hot Springs and the Frazer Canyon) en route from the Okanagan to Vancouver Island. We certainly chose well. The first thing we found was that the house was set in a wondeful peaceful garden. Our hosts, Jacquie & John made us feel very welcome.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. We had the smaller room (The Rose Suite) which was just adequate but our friends had the Meadow Suite which was bigger.

We couldn't believe the breakfast! We were given a menu and could tick absolutely anything we wanted - we ticked too many boxes! We have never had such a wonderful breakfast experienced served in large wicker baskets by the hosts, Jacquie & John.

The location was great, just down the road from Harrison Hot Springs and we came away feeling that we really wanted to stay longer.
