“Local rocks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2013

Great ceviche, full of locals eating grilled fish (always a good sign). My husband chose the special (grilled fish with a tomato salsa) and had his best meal of the holiday. I had the mixed ceviche which was generous and tasty. Definitely check it out - a nice change from some of the places on the square, authentic and great value.

“Indifferent scowling waitstaff with obnoxious local occupants”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2013

Stopped for lunch. Place was empty except for a local family of about 10 not eating, but.hanging out at the end of the restaurant, all being loud and obnoxious and playing on their cellphones. Occasionally giving me unfriendly stares as if I had 2 heads. The waitress's face would have cracked if she had smiled, serving you with complete indifference. The only one that was personable was the woman cooking. Had the octopus cocktail which was adequate.Skip this place there are better.

“The best ceviche in all México”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2012

The best place to eat ceviche. The shrimp, octopus, fish and snail, was really fresh. I ordered breaded lobster, it was delicious! You will be part of the family. The prices are fair according the quality of food and service.

“Overall average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2012

The ceviche was very good but just a tad heavy on the acidity. We went for the Chaya empanadas and kept missing them, or the restaurant wasn't open when it was advertised it would be. When we finally had them they were ok but we had already had them had Miriam's that were dreamy and delicate and then nothing else would compare!
