Me and my wife were beach hopping on Margarita Island and stumbled onto this little beach front gem in the town of Juan Griego next to Playa Caribe on the North West side of the island. It's exactly the kind of spot where you can just show up and be welcomed with open arms by Micheal, his family and staff.
It is an oasis for any traveler who needs a safe, comfortable place to relax for a day or a week. It's not the ritz but what it lacks in ammenities it more than makes up for in charm and atmosphere. Ammenities include airconditioned rooms, communal TV sitting area, free internet access, free pool table, hammocks, cheap cold beer, central location close to shopping and services and just minutes from 1 of the best beaches (Caribe) in Margarita.
The biggest ammenity is Michael himself who knows pretty much everything you would need to know as a tourist in Venezuela. Whether it's reccomending a local restaurant, giving info on other island destinations or if you are planning to hit the mainland and head into jungles or mountains he knows it all inside out.
My highlight memory is our last night meal at the hotel. Organized by staffers Cathy and Jody all the guests pooled their money to buy all the fixings for a BBQ feast. Michael gave us use of the grill and away we went. Everybody pitching in and helping to create the best meal I had on my vacation. Moments like that is why you go on vacation. To find new experiences with new people. The Hotel Patrick truly is a home away from home.

Backpakers, adventure seekers or leisure travellers touring Margarita are advised to make the Hotel Patrick one of their stops. You'll be glad that you did!

I planned a few days in this posada and i stood there for the hole time at isla margarita. Michael und his crew are very nice and obliging. The included bar is good for party and chillin with hammocks or playing pool.
I would come back for a second time!

Hotel Patrick is a perfect choice on the north of isla de margarita. The owner Micke is very helpful with everything you need and always serve cold drinks in his bar. The rest of the staff is also very nice and smiling all the time! The rooms are ok, with boubblebeds, hot water, WiFi and AirCon.

The charming town Juan Griego is worth a visit and special playa Caribe 10min away. The hotel has a good location close to the beach and restaurants.

I stayed at Hotel Patrick for 1 week and I had a great time. The room was nice and clean, the athmosphere around the common area of the hotel was friendly and with at lot of cool people hanging around. Both costumers and locals. The staff was 110 % cool and helpfull in organizing trips around the island and to the mainland.

I stayed at Hotel Patrick as a single traveller. The family atmosphere in the hostel was fantastic. I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. It’s a great place to meet and socialise with other back packers, always something going on.

The owner, Michael, has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Venezuela and was most helpful in assisting me with my onward travels.

I was impressed by the quality of the rooms at such a good price and would heartily recommended staying there to anyone considering it.
