1 review It is very nice to stay in this cottage, which is cosy and has its own garden. The sustainable farm to which it is attached is a perfect example of how men and nature can work together: inspiring! At night you can see the stars and enjoy the silence. Great relaxed walking and hiking nearby. Special feature is the home dog who knows all the routes and will walk with you (if you'd like). Hosts are very nice, and in full respect of privacy. All in all a beautiful experience!
2 reviews Our stay at Marco and Vivian's cottage far exceeded our expectations! The stone cottage was perfect - everything was more than presented regarding the accommodation. The setting is perfect - hidden away in a quiet valley. We did have two small dogs with us that got on so well with their German Short-haired Pointer. The hidden gem that wasn't mentioned is that the farm is completely sustainable! Solar panels power the cottage and farm, and their trout farm is run in a sustainable manner. Marco offers tours of the trout farm, a tasting of their delicious smoked trout and pate's as well as some fly fishing in their dam. We will definitely be returning soon to explore the hiking trails around their farm!
