Did the full day of fishing and snorkeling. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful showing us all the unique aspects of the marine life as well as the proper way to dive and to equalize your ears.

My family did a night boat tour with Luckie and it was one of the most incredible experiences of nature I have ever had. After a tour up and down the river, spotting wildlife, Luckie took us to a lagoon with bioluminescence. The glow was activated by motion, so paddling, or fish swimming by, or running your hand through the water caused a sparkling magical light. So incredible. I almost don't want to review this to keep the lagoon a secret so it's not overrun...! Luckie was a great guide, very welcoming and enthusiastic about nature. Thanks Luckie :)

Our family of 4, with 2 teenage girls, had a great day with Luckie and first mate Marlin. Luckie is fun, has a good sense of humor, and speaks great English. He's also very knowledgeable and a good captain. Marlin is deaf/mute and very friendly and handy. Between them they have a good time and were fun to be with. We had never really snorkeled before and Luckie took us to a very shallow sandy area for a little instruction and pointers before we went out in bigger water. This was very helpful in making sure our masks fit and my daughters knew how to use their flippers well. He also explained some basic sign language for communicating underwater. After that we were off! We went to some truly amazing coral reefs, from an area out in the middle of nowhere right on the inside of the reef, to a small Caye where the coral gardens were simply amazing. We saw tons of fish, beautiful coral of all sorts, rays, barracuda, and sea stars. Luckie really knows the local fish and could tell us the names of everything we saw - which I can't remember now but appreciated it then... We also spent some time fishing, both trolling and handline. We didn't catch a barracuda that day but got some good bites which were very powerful, so hang onto the pole! We did catch a lot of reef fish. We had watermelon snacks and a great lunch on Bread and Butter Caye. One of the nicest features of Luckie's boat is the awning, most boats we saw didn't have those. Thank God for the awning because if you're like us, you will fry in the sun (even with the awning we fried a bit so bring plenty of sunscreen, hats, swim shirts, etc.). Also, based on some other snorkeling we did, Luckie took us to spots with some of the healthiest and most vibrant coral we saw - really some spectacular gardens. If it's windy it's an adventure getting out to the reef, but we felt safe and it was like a fun ride. All in all well recommended!

Luckie took our family on a wonderful half day trip to the reef. The kids had never snorkelled before. He was patient w them, thorough in explaining how to fit everything, and very knowledgeable about the area, history and the environment. His equipment was much better than other guides we have seen and used in Belize. His groups are smaller. A great day and a great professional experience.
