We spent our 12 night honeymoon here the end of November. We were on an all-inclusive package. I'll cover the negatives first. The bar ran out of Crown Royal on our 2nd night. They ran out of JD 2 nights later. Then they ran out of Kahlua. No, we didn't drink it all ourselves.Despite many requests by the bartender and resort managers, head office never replenished these. The pizza was not available some days and the amazing jalapeno poppers were seldom available. Now for the positives. Our villa was absolutely perfect. Because of our long stay, we became well acquainted with all of the front line staff. Everything Chef Louis and Miss Pinky made were delicious. Bartender Jose is a blast and will never leave you thirsty. Try his fresh from the tree Coco Locos. Dorita and Irma are great waitresses. We especially want to thank Irma for the opportunity to spend some time with her beautiful family. We will cherish that time more than you will ever know. Kameesha and Heather were assisting the wait staff as part of a high school work experience program. We wish you the best when you start college next year.Sammy and Houstus were our evening waiters. They made every dinner a first class experience. We did three guided trips with Bernard. He knows his birds and his knowledge of the ancient Mayans during our tour of Xuantinich made the the visit more than just a sightseeing trip. Naomi, Ed, Mr. Gill, and Todd were the front desk staff and managers that were always able to help with any request we had. I hope the ownership group will fix the supply issue and never forget that the front line staff are the reason we would recommend Belizean Dreams to anyone looking for a relaxing tropical retreat mixed with a little adventure touring.

We chose Belize as our honeymoon spot and did a lot of research on resorts and finally decided on Belizean Dreams and are so thankful we did. Right from the beginning with booking the staff was super easy to work with. Upon arrival we were great with a great drink from Charles. We booked the honeymoon package and got 3 adventures. Our room was amazing and it was great to be right on the ocean. All the food was amazing. There wasn't one thing we didn't like and the helpings were large so you didn't walk away hungry. Bernardo was our guide for all of our adventures except for snorkeling. He was AMAZING and so knowledgeable! He truly made every day fun. We did the snorkeling our first full day there and it was awesome. Crispin and all the staff at Coco Plum were great. Crispin took us to 2 locations and we got to interact with so many different sea life. All the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We wanted to do a different zipline then what they normally offer and Naomi arranged it all for us, no problem. I really can't say enough about the staff from the front desk to servers, to bartenders, to tour guides, they were all amazing. We also met some great couples who we will be life long friends with! Thank you Belizean Dreams for making our honeymoon unforgettable. We will be back!

This place is so friendly, they know your name right away and they are great at taking care of you! It's so nice because it's small so you're not fighting for beach chairs or pool room. We had at the most 5 other couples there when we were there, but we were there right before their busy season. Although they only have 9 villas so it's still small. There had been some major flooding right before we got there and some of our adventures we couldn't do because of high water. But instead of just not going they arranged for us to do other adventures or go on different days with their sister resort. We were very happy that they made the effort to try a fix something that wasn't in their hands to start with. We were able to borrow snorkle gear from the resort and snorkle off the shore which was great!! Jose, the bartender is awesome and so funny!!! They food was awesome!!! Very pretty and well kept grounds! Lots of great adventures to do. We did snorkling, zip lining, mayan ruins, and monkey river. It was a great honeymoon and hope to go back for our 5 or 10 year anniversary !!!

If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the rest of the world yet be treated like royalty, this is the place to be. With only 9 villas the resort is quaint, beautiful and is the ultimate place to relax. We stayed in 9A (top floor, ocean front). The room was clean, beautifully appointed and had breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding property. With no TV, radio or internet access it was the perfect environment to just decompress and unwind.

The beauty of the resort was only eclipsed by the quality of the service. Liz, Irma, Dorita, Sammy, Bernard and Jose were more like family than servers. They were warm, authentic, sincere and simply...."good people". Even if you have an all inclusive package bring extra money to tip them generously. There was only 16 other people at the resort over the nine days we were there. The level of attention to our every need did not go un-noticed and the staff deserved to be recognized and compensated for that level of service. There was truly NOTHING that we requested that they did not happily accommodate.

The excursion to the Mayan ruins was well worth the day long trip. And snorkeling on the second largest reef in the western hemisphere was indescribable. Zip lining was also incredible (bring plenty of bug spray).

Bottom line - the ideal place to unplug from the world while being treated as if you are the only person left in the world.

Belizean Dreams will not disappoint you. We left just a few weeks ago, and are already planning to return for our five-year anniversary. With so much world to see, I never want to visit the same place twice, but Belize is definitely the exception! We wanted to go somewhere quiet and peaceful - somewhere not overloaded with tourists and beachgoers, and this resort definitely fit the bill. We got the honeymoon package, and upon our arrival, were offered a yummy beverage from the hilarious, crazy and ever so sweet bartender, Jose! When we got to our room, there were fresh flowers everywhere - we definitely felt special right off the bat.

Four tours came with our packages, but we only did three because we loved the time spent drinking with other newlyweds and hanging out on the beach most of all! We first tried snorkeling and fishing, and Chrispin and Otto made the day such a fun one! We went to two different snorkeling locations and saw loads of wildlife, from stingrays to angelfish. Chrispin even dived down to grab a sea cucumber, which I held in my hand. Fishing was relaxing and exciting - all at once! We caught a variety of reef fish, and they let us take some back to the resort to cook up for dinner - Louis is an OUTSTANDING cook - I gained seven pounds while I was there, and his food was worth every pound! :)

The next day, we took the Monkey River tour with Terry, who was so knowledgeable about the area and could name every species of wildlife - from saltwater crocs to bats to howler monkeys and an endless amount of birds. It was an awesome boatride, and treking through the only rainforest in Belize is a pretty special thing!

Finally, we get to Bernard - our incredibly sweet Mayan friend, who led us on the tour of Xunantunich. We learned SO MUCH about the ruins and how they came to be - thank you for being such a wonderful tour guide.

This honeymoon, to us, had everything - adventure, downtime, the most incredible drinks and meals we've ever had (Conch and a Coco Loco (mojito-style) all in the same day? Win-win!), and romance - we had the most lovely beachfront dinner with tiki torches, candles and wine. And the sunrises in the morning - out of this world. Just beautiful.

Thanks to Liz, Houstas, Sammy, Ed, the housekeepers and anyone else I missed - you all made us feel right at home.

My best friend and myself just got back from Belize. We stayed at Belizean dreams. I can not say enough about this resort. The resort its self is beautiful and well kept. We were a walk away from Hopkins Village which gives you a true Belizean experience.

The food is AMAZING! Chef Louis is epic. I'm still craving his meals.
The staff at the resort are phenomenal!! So accommodating! Such genuine people. Anything you need they are there for you to make your trip memorable!

Usually my thoughts are not to go to the same place twice. But I will definitely break my rule for Belizean dreams!! In a heart beat I would go back.

Room Tip: Some have ocean view.. Some are full suites with kitchenettes. All are beautiful though!

This resort was VERY comfortable and sits in a beautiful setting. The fishing was amazing, as was the food. You can expect lively bartenders, polite servers and administrative staff that will bend over backwards for you. Our room couldn't have been more perfect. It was a wonderful trip, and considering how often we travel, I can say with confidence it's one of the best I've been lucky enough to experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a villa close to the beach, although they all really are!
