“Owners make this place great”

Good location for beach, restaurants & buses, rooms are clean & simple.
Shared areas are woody so take repellent - pool table, pool & plenty of chairs to kick back in.
Two wifi routers give good coverage (important to us)
The owners are super friendly & helpful

The place had good character and a nice chill area outside with a small pool and hammocks. We went during the low season, so we were the only guests there. The owners were friendly and played good music. As for the downside, bed linens were a bit sketchy and there wasn't any air conditioning--not that you really need it. It's a good place with good character, but definitely a hostel.

This is definitely the most fun place to stay in Sant Teresa. It is under new management and the entire staff is wonderful and inviting. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and neat. The best part, by far, is the surf shop on the property run by two brothers, Jack and Tom. (SweetWaterSurf.com). They offer top quality boards and instruction. Do not miss out on their deals! I can't wait to go back!!

Room Tip: SweetWaterSurf.com offers complete packages that include everything! Accommodations food surfing and...

If you are looking for a party place and don't care much about cleanliness, this is the place to stay. We never really understood who worked there and not. The showers and bathrooms were quiet dirty. The chill out area is nice. I am sure though there are better places to stay in Santa Teresa.

I hated staying at the mini hostel! It was so gross and disgusting. They had 2 toilets and 3 showers for about 30 people to all share. The trashes in the bathroom were all overflowing with toilet paper. I didn't even want to use the bathroom because it was so gross and there was no soap to wash your hands after. When the guy showed us our room I was so disgusted the sheets and pillow cases were dirty the floor was covered in sand. We had one ceiling fan that hardly worked and in the morning it was broken. The lock to our door wouldn't keep anyone out it was barely screwed to the wall and pretty much just kept the door closed. Also the pool was a murky green color and people were still swimming in it. The other people staying there were up all night partying which wouldn't of been a big deal if I didn't have to listen to "This girls on fire" about 15 times.
Pretty much every place in Santa Teresa is 2 mins from the beach if you want clean sheets and not to wake up with bugs on you go somewhere else.
