The site is nice and well located, but the rooms smell terrible and bed sheets were dirty. Definitely not recommending it for the price. 2min walks from the beach and located in the middle of the city.

Loved the grounds and the hammocks and the pool. The area is gorgeous and the soda shops have amazing food. We explored the jungles and other beaches and the fruit stands. Just a beautiful area and sweet people.

We had a rough go of it here. Upon arrival we could not get inside, as the front door and entry gate were locked and nobody to let us in for 5-10 minutes. Then our room could not be secured because the sliding door to our patio area was extremely difficult to lock and open. Then we discovered the large sliding window to the bathroom had a broken latch, which would have made it easy for some to enter. And finally our lockbox didn’t work either. After over an hour we were offered a different room, which ended up being the room that was more in-line with what we originally reserved. Breakfast was okay, but more on the minimum side. The beach is beautiful. The city is a DUST PIT with no infrastructure (dusty rock roads, few sidewalks, open sewers). Considering one must drive several hours on very poor roads to get here, there is a very low payback for your effort (unless you crave surfing and dust).

We were there for 3 nights me, my husband and our 4 months old baby. We had a really good and friendly service, a beautiful room really well cleaned everyday and really goods advices about any questions that we had. The owner is a really nice women and was really helpful for us during our stay. There is nice breakfast, comfy hammock and a beautiful pool. It s only 2 mins walk to the beach. There is also a laundry service. I would highly recommand this place to anyone or any family who is looking for a Nice, clean and secure place in that area. It really worth the price.

Stayed at Atrapasuenos for six nights.
Our room was clean and big with a nice little terrace and a good size fridge.
Breakfast was nice and the coffee was super good.
The temperature in the shower was extremely hard to regulate. Either it was cold or boiling hot.
Wifi was OK, a little sketchy at times.
Would've liked to have dark curtains to make the room darker and not having to wake up at 6.30 due to the sun rising.
Would've liked to have som sort of hanger in the room for wet bikinis and towels. Since you shut the AC off when you're not in the room things were always a little damp.
A lot of good restaurants close by and a supermarket straight over the road.
