Very nice little place tucked away in a very nice part of Costa Rica. Friendly, clean and all around great place to stay. Trent and Soraya are the best!

First, the owners,, Soraya and Trent are really gentle and will do everything to make your stay really enjoyable.
Second, the houses are just perfect and the whole place is quite a dream.
It's really close to the really nice beach.

We arrived late and tired and not sure what to expect, but what an incredible surprise. Soraya showed us to our Casa and we were blown away by the space and the high standards. This accomodation offers luxury without the unnecessary frills of the larger boutique hotels. Soraya and Kent are so welcoming, generous and accomodating this will be our 1st stop when we return to Costa Rica. Keep a camera handy for the Howler monkeys in the tree's within the grounds and make use of the hammocks but be warned they, are a natural anaesthetic. Enjoy

When my friend and I were stranded for two nights in Santa Teresa, Casas de Soleil owners, Trent and Soraya came to our rescue. The couple (he's American, she's Honduran and both are brilliantly bilingual) put us up for two nights in one of their lovely homes. At Casas de Soleil, we had two of the best nights my friend and I enjoyed during our entire stay in Costa Rica.

When we walked to dinner--to a cafe recommended by Soraya, which was awesome and reasonably priced--one of Soraya's dogs accompanied us. Ginger the Dog didn't beg or bark but simply stayed by our side throughout dinner and walked home with us. It was if she were keeping watch over us. And as we walked through town with "our" dog we actually felt a little local AND protected.

When we stupidly locked ourselves out of our room--without shoes or cell phone--the nightguard at Casas de Soleil quickly came to our rescue with spare keys and Ginger parked herself outside our door.

The room was lovely with a spacious bathroom that included a beautifully tiled shower that was open and airy. The room and bathroom were decorated more like a personal vacation home than a rental or hotel. The decor was warm, inviting and thoughtfully considered. (Someone demonstrated good taste). The air conditioner AND the refrigerator in the room were both quiet (I typically complain about appliance noice). And the window shades kept the 5am sunrise from waking us.

We took advantage of the swimming pool and--like a luxury hotel--we were happy to see plenty of towels on the lounge chairs awaiting us since we neglected to bring our own.

The staff (guards, maids, gardener) at Casas de Soleil were all incredibly friendly and never passed without smiling a "Buenos Dias" to us. We felt very much at home and very welcome. Both Trent and Soraya took many opportunities to make sure we had everything we needed at all times.

Trent, Soraya, Soleil and The Pooches,
Thank you for helping us have the best experience in our favorite place!
Your grounds and homes are absolutely amazing, comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. We loved the feel and vibe of Casa Hemingway, the huge out door area with hammocks, dining table, lounge table and best ever Weber charcoal BBQ (BBQ basically sold me on the place ;) ) and the interior of Casa Hemingway was really cool with the huge wooden window covers, the high ceilings and perfect kitchen with all the tools needed to cook or prepare any meal. Coqui does an amazing job with the grounds, the plant life is stunning. Aura was wonderful and did a great job keeping our unit clean. Having the daily cleaning service and laundry is dope! The saltwater pool area is great to relax and see some amazing wildlife. The monkeys, butterflies, hummingbirds, Tucans and Iguanas were great. It was also great that you had drinking water in our suite and included in our rental rate. Trent, great job on all the surf boards...having those rentals on site for your guests makes it very easy and nice to equate into the overall price of the trip.

I would recommend staying at Casas de Soleil to anyone. Great people, great homes, great location and great vibes in an amazing place!

Dean and I miss you all! See you in January!

Tyler and Dean

Casas de Soleil is a perfect place for vacation. It is "family-run", the owners take alot of pride in their facility-everything is very clean, well appointed( and if it there is something that you need, they'll get it for you),safe and secure. The location is perfect, close to everything, but secluded enough to be away from noise and any crowd. We have been to Costa Rica alot and this was a "find", we are definitely returning!

Everything about the experience was perfect. The stunning architecture of the casas, the tranquil setting in the jungle, the efficiency of the cleaning service, and the great advice from Trent all made for a unforgettable time. The beach is a walk across the street, the village is just a 2 minute walk and yet the casas are secluded and quiet. I can't say enough about the ambiance of Casa Romantica. Huge deck, full kitchen, beautiful woodwork and lots of style. Casas de Soleil is a place i could spend a very long time at.
