I live in the City of Panama and had a friend visit me from the USA.. We stayed December 30 and 31 2013.. We had a wonderful time and the breakfast were so yummy and fresh.. We both have big appetites and they fed us well.. The owners are kind and welcoming.. The house we stayed in was so beautiful and very clean, beds are comfortable, rooms enchanting.. It felt like staying with family. I would absolutely come back and highly suggest you staying here..
El Valle is one of my favorite places in Panama, I feel it almost magical but I adore and prefer the mountains.

My family of six adults spent a wonderfully relaxing week at Park Eden. It is a quiet large property full of luxuriant gardens, towering trees, birds, and butterflies, away from the bustle of the downtown area. Monica and Lionel were warm and welcoming hosts, and the staff was most attentive to our needs.
We rented the Linda Vista House and La Casita, and cooked all of our dinners there. The ample kitchen has a large set of windows from the dining area which open fully onto the gardens. The beds were comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, and the breakfasts were delicious. With a living room, two balconies, porches, as well as benches scattered around the grounds, there was plenty of room for privacy. Air conditioning was available in all the bedrooms, but with the night time cooling winds, they were never needed.
We all enjoy walking and, with the easy access to taxis, we did not need to rent a car during our stay. There is a well equipped El Rey supermarket less than fifteen minutes walk away. Monica even arranged at the last minute a great hike with Mario Berna Greco, an excellent local guide, who is very passionate about his environment.
All in all Park Eden helped make this a special Christmas which my whole family will remember fondly.

Room Tip: If you can rent the whole Linda Vista house, do so, as you truly get a home away from home experienc...

We stayed in this property for 3 nights and loved it. Surrounded by lush grounds, imaculate and peaceful gardens, the estate is very well maintained. The room was very comfortable and spacious and my husband kept raving about the shower. Included breakfast is plentiful and a la carte, with fresh fruits and choices from french toast to eggs with bacon. By the time we finished breakfast, our room was already clean! I recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to stay in beautiful, character homes.

We stayed there for one night as part of a pre-packaged honeymoon tour of Panama. The place is very hard to find, and we were greeted by the owner who does not speak english. There is only street parking. We were booked in the Colibri room, which was supposed to have a king bed. Instead the room had two double beds and a single bed. The cottage requires maintenance, cracks on the walls, no a/c, bars on all windows( makes you feel real safe) , the shower was abysmal, very small, dirty and no hot water. There was no WiFi, and the TV did not work. In the morning, we had a breakfast consisting of store bought frozen corn patties, two pre-cooked slices of bacon, some hot dog buns as bread and some fruit. The eggs served were cold and very salty. We've stayed at many places during our trip and this is the only place we couldn't wait to get away from. Stay at other places in El Valle, if you feel compelled in visiting this pointless town.

We stayed in a house that we rented but loved the restaurant for breakfast. Like a breakfast at a very upscale hotel with squeezed juices, nice table linens, waterfall trickling and fish swimming yet inexpensive for Panama even. Service is attentive though leisurely, not a problem since you can buy food and feed the fish and various animals. We also fed fruit off our plate to the toucan. House made yeast rolls, jam, and, especially the house made picante sauce are great. One of the breakfasts is like a full plate of fajitas including a drink for 6 dollars. Wi-Fi is free but wasn't working.

Our family group of eight spent only one night at Park Eden and we wished that we had known to arrange more! The rooms were spacious and beautifully apportioned. The breakfast was a delightful mix of Panamanian dishes (and good coffee). Our host was very helpful and gracious. The grounds were lush and beautiful. A completely delightful visit.

Lovely place to relax in a beautiful location! We enjoyed our 3 night stay with breakfast in the garden surrounded by the birds and beautiful flowers. Monica was very friendly and welcoming , answered all our questions and even made dinner reservations for us. The neighborhood is quiet and safe--we would love to stay here again! Thank you Monica for sharing your beautiful gardens with us!
