Of all the places I've stayed in the world while traveling, Cecilia's is truly a home away from home. From the time you arrive, she and her husband Jean make you feel like a member of the family, looking after you in every way. One year I came in May and was surprised at how cold it was. I thought I would need to buy a coat, but Cecilia gave me one of her own for the duration of my stay. On another occasion, I arrived late in the evening with a planned early departure back to the US, and she had a delicious cold supper waiting for me at the kitchenette table in my room. Thoughtfulness in small ways defines Cecilia's Guest House. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Cecilia and Jean-Claude are such a warmfull and helpfull couple which know how to make your stay in Paris exceptionnal and unforgettable : their generous welcome in their nice big house gave us a great feeling of peace and serenity... Their beautifull and quiet garden (illuminated by night !!) made us feel like in heaven, specially every morning when we had our coffee between the birds and the flowers, and as well every evening after a running day in town. The location is just 7 minutes by train from the center of Paris (train station nearby the guesthouse), all the needed conveniences are just around the house (cashmachine, bakery, markets and various restaurants) and we received all practical informations kindly given by our lovely hosts upon our arrival. Thank you, Cecilia and Jean-Claude : we had the unique experience to visit Paris in so good and easy conditions with all the help we needed. We were so glad and lucky to meet you, you are really wonderfull persons, you were our angels !! We already miss you and hopefully we'll come back to your guesthouse in our next trip to Paris (as soon as possible !!)...

Five of us stayed here for three days from the 16th -19th of April. This is a fantastic place to stay. Cecilia sorted out our train tickets fo the four days of our stay almost imediately after we arriveded at her guesthouse. She is beyond generous with her time and energy. She was there whenever we needed her but we also had total privacy. The garden is beautiful, with sun loungers, you would never guess that you were so central to paris. Because there were five of us and our french was rusty school french at best, she really made our stay extra special by taking away some of the obstacles which would have added stress to our holiday!!!!
Cecilia couldn't have been nicer. We will definitely be recommending her and we will definitely return....much love...

I was welcomed by the warm and friendly Cecilia as I neared the end of a 3-month trek through S. Europe, and it was just what I needed on a snowy Paris day! I loved my cozy and quiet room. Cecilia goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Taking the train was easy and got me in touch with how the locals travel. I'd go back in a heart beat!

My daughter and I stayed with Cecilia for four nights in early October. The guest house is very cute and the gardens are lovely. It's a shame we didn't have a bit more sunshine as it would have been wonderful to eat the yummy breakfast in the gorgeous garden.....the pain chocolat is to die for. It is very easy to find, really close to the train station ( about 2-3 minutes walk ) and the station is only two stops out of the centre of Paris, which means everything is very close. Even Disneyland requires only one change of train. Cecilia was very friendly and helpful, and took us for a walk when we arrived to familiarize us with the area and I would highly recommend this guest house. I am taking my husband, and possibly two of my grown up children to Paris and Disneyland of course, in 2012 and would love to stay there again. Thanks Cecilia - see you in a couple of years.....from Chris & Sammy.

We stayed here for the best 4 nights of our trip. Cecilia convinced us online to stay here as we were wavering about staying in town. Thankfully we listened. She was right. The travel by metro and train goes quickly. The rooms are cute and cozy. She provides everything we need including breakfast. The fresh croissants and baguettes were the best. Her yard is amazing. Daily we came back to our special retreat. She had lawn chairs, chaise lounges, a table with umbrella and chairs for each room amidst grass and flowers. Where else can you find this in Paris?? There are also many restaurants and a laundry/lavarie nearby. If you're going to Paris, you couldn't ask for better. Thanks, Cecilia!!
