The only reason I can not give this hotel a 5-star rating is because it lacked basic toiletries including enough paper products for one night's stay. The room comes with a bar of soap and two bottles of shampoo. Also, they do not provide extra towels, etc. Overall, it was very nice and I would highly recommend it to others. It is in a great location and the parking is free.

We stayed at Le Clos de la Glycine in early May. We arrived early and the lovely woman at the front counter greeted us like we were family that she had been expecting. Since there is no parking close to the hotel, she explained how we could park to unload and she personally came out and helped us bring in our luggage. Later she made our dinner reservation and then was there again at dinner time and took us to the best table in the restaurant. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking. The food and wine were excellent. Our room was lovely. Decorated in a traditional old world style. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed. Even the blow dryer was good quality. I only hope that someday I can visit again.

In the centre of Roussillon this is the perfect place to stay. Our room overlooked the valley with marvelous morning and evening views. The staff, Lea and Nadine, were very helpful. The on sight restaurant David is well worth a visit for dinner.

Room Tip: Select a room or suite with a valley view.

We stayed at this hot in August 2013 and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is located right in the center of Roussillon, with amazing views across the valley. The rooms are good size and good quality with Provence design. We had a room overlooking the road in front of the hotel, but the road and town is so small that it was quiet anyway.
The hotel's restaurant is really famous around and the terrace overlooking the valley was fully booked, so we had to sit inside. The food was amazing, really top quality french cuisine and will definitely advise to have your dinner there.
We had breakfast in the hotel's courtyard which is really beautiful. Breakfast was great.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely advise this hotel to anyone considering the trip to Provence as Roussillon is a must-see town.

Room Tip: Best rooms are probably the ones overlooking the valley due to the view and quietness, although we h...

A delightful little hotel perched on the edge of the astounding ochre cliffs of Roussillon. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and helpful and totally bilingual (unlike the restaurant) , the room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a view over the cliffs. There was a TV but no foreign language channels, a safe and lots of storage space. Bathroom was roomy but like so many French hotels - only a hand shower in the bath!!! This was not great for those of us who don't bath/ prefer to shower- after many attempts we managed to 'shower' without spraying water everywhere.
The restaurant has one of the most beautiful, uninterrupted views of the Luberon, the food was fabulous and on the whole the service was good- just a great pity that a few of the waitstaff let down the side! They were by no means rude- just a look of long- suffering hardship and dislike of their job. A pity in such awesome surroundings. And why of why is there such a reluctance of French hotel staff to attempt to speak English. After all it is NOT only the British who speak the language- and if they are to accommodate foreigners, surely it is incumbent on them to reach out to their patrons?
Roussillon is a great little town- more spectacular once the day trippers have left- a great place to explore other villages - we really enjoyed historical Avignon, shopping and the best ice cream in France in L'isle sur-la-Sorge, views and peaceful walks in Lacoste and the vistas of Bonnieux - and a wonderful dinner at St Andre!

We stayed 2 nights in late May and enjoyed the stay. Clean large comfortable room with great view. The restaurant in hotel was great and the breakfast on the open deck with a view of the ochre hills was fantastic.

A quaint atmosphere, the rooms are clean and with great space, great bathroom with shower and good size, the view from my room was the valley of the Luberon, in the morning I awoke with the sun illuminating my room to get up and open the window view was of profound peace of nature was awakening! The simple breakfast, worth sitting in the outer, clear tables if you go in the summer! The owner is present at all, always very helpful! Congratulations to all!
