Let's face it - and once you've tried out the harbour-side strip of restaurants, you soon realise - you don't come to them in the expectation of Michelin-grade food. Having said that, my experience of this and the neighbouring establishments was that the menu here was more interesting, with some dishes beyond the staple offerings, and the execution better.

It has to be said that the service was excruciatingly slow (though perfectly amiable), but you are on a small island in the Cyclades, so where is there to rush to? And the setting is pretty...

Writing this review from my phone while still on holiday in milos! (Taking advantage of the wifi available in aktaion bar on the seafront, a good place for lunch!)

We stopped off here for dinner purely because we couldn't make up our minds on where to go! Big mistake!

The owner (I think) ran from one end of the seating area to the other trying to grab potential customers from the sidewalk! Was really overbearing, yet once you sat in his restaurant was ridiculously rude!!! This restaurant was the only one we've seen so far where staff approach people looking at the menu outside to try hassle them to come in!

Food wasn't great, got the starter wrong so we had to send it back, were given a plate of over ripe melon when finished and then charged for it. Waiter forgot to give us the bill. No mention of a dessert menu so not sure if they even do dessert! The only thing is the meal was really cheap at 26euro, but was a huge disappointment! Also no prices on the menu for any of the drinks which we thought was really cheeky!

Language barrier seemed to be a bit of an issue as well, which is fine usually, only the staff seemed to get very frustrated and argumentative when they didn't understand what was being asked of them! Especially when we had to send back the wrong starter, we were argued with until we showed them the menu and pointed at what we had actually ordered!

We're only in Milos for 3 nights so was a huge disappointment to waste one of them here!

Unbelivable bad, old food. Very expensive and the sizes of the dishes was a joke . ( 10cm of thin octopus leg and one !!!! small potato placed over the table that it Looks more) They gave us something for free (disgusting lens salad) but it smelled very old and the tomatoes Inside looked very bad and old. We was complaining about that but instead of a excuse came the cook and started to argue with us very loudly . Unbelievable bad this restaurant and the only negativ expirience in our holiday in beautiful Milos. But as we see here on tripadvisor many similar reviews are written.

This restaurant by the port in Adamas looks very nice and it is well located but the food is not good enough because while some of the dishes were fine, the grilled prawns were dreadful, frozen dry badly cooked, just not good enough. Some other people around were not happy neither. Service was disorganised as well. Many other better choices in the port

Friendly if slightly eccentric service can't disguise the fact that this is pretty straightforward Greek food. They try to give you something extra although sometimes this means that you cant leave when you want because they wont bring you the bill until you've had the dessert you didn't want.

Food is good but choose your fish wisely as sometimes it doesn't look that fresh - make sure you look at what they have.

Portions are generally on the large side. Unless you have a mammoth appetite you'd struggle to eat a whole portion of Mousakka and Pasticcio with a salad. And then theyll bring you cake! You have been warned.
