We were here for 9 nights. Margarenia herself is very friendly and keen to help you find places to visit/eat. The hotel is only small with 15 apartments. The apartments are clean and comfortable and a decent size. They're cleaned every day with clean towels also. They have 2 electric rings n pots n pans etc. We ate out mist of the time but did cook a pasta and breakfast successfully. It is set back from the road so quiet and relaxing, only a 20 minutes walk to the beachfront, 24hr bakery, supermarkets and hire places. We were impressed with the accommodation and could easily be a 4* with a few improvements. Would recommend this place for a relaxing break self catering holiday.

Margarenia Studios offers large, spotless apartments with everything you need. The setting around the apartments and pool is beautifully done and well maintained.

There are two decent sized supermarkets within a 5 minute walk in either direction (right - Carrefour, left - Big Discount Supermarket). The beach is approximately a 10/15mins walk straight across the road from the front of Margarenia.

Margarita, the hotel manager, is incredibly helpful and almost always at hand to help with anything she can. She was even able to pick me up from the airport free of charge to save transfer cost.

My only reason for giving Margarenia 4 instead of 5 is because of the immediate surroundings being almost completely derelict, and the bathrooms being a slightly lower standard than the apartments themselves. Decor on the whole is contemporary but not luxury, which is fine for me, but something to point out for those looking for that 'little bit extra'.
Being just off of the main road is an advantage for getting to places, but due to extortionate taxi prices (which can be driver dependant...) I would advise hiring a car or making the most of the convenient bus route to Thira (Margarita is on hand with bus times!)

10 days felt a little too long to be in Perissa, on the whole Santorini is quite small despite there being lots to do.
My favourite activity was hiring out quads with friends for the day and covering the whole island (which can be done in no time at all!) and watching sunset from the Akrotiri lighthouse. Oia and Fira are other places you can get an amazing view.

Overall - a great place to use as a base to explore Santorini, relax by the pool, or make the most of the black beach.

I stayed here for two weeks with my girlfriend and we had a great time. Arrived at 10pm and the staff member (Margarita there are two of them) said she would drive us to to go and get food (we declined but thought that was a great start to the holiday. Margarita the owner introduced her self the next day and has great knowledge about Santorini, where to eat, what trips to go on. We tried all the restaurants she recommended.

The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels every day for two weeks. There was a safe in the room and air con, which were in with the price. The pool was spacious and has free sunbeds, often there would only be a handful of people around the pool, the pool does have a bar but not always manned and could have served food (however there is a 24 hour bakery and supermarket not far away).

In terms of location it is about 15 minutes to Perivolos beach and 25 minutes from Perissa beach, the roads do not really have footpaths in places. You have an excellent view of the mountain and can see the sea from the hotel.

Its a great place to stay

Nothing we can add about this place that hasn't already been said. Only
one draw back, and that the 15 min walk to the bars or beach. That said , we would definitely book again. Clean, best pool in the area ( often you have to yourself), Margarita is the most helpful person you will meet, free hotel transfers and our room (5) was spacious with 2 balconies. Simply can't fault the hotel, and the price is exceptionally competitive compared to others. Any questions please ask, just book, you won't be disappointed.

Small hotel. Spotlessly clean. Great pool and free sunbeds. Both the owner and Manager are the most perfect hosts. They will do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as they can.
The location is good. Bus stops just at end of road. 10-15 minutes walk to the beach.
Would definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommended.
