“Good Food, cheap prices, nice people”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2014

We went to Demi's after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor....and wished we had found it earlier in our trip.
From the outside it looks like a cheap and greasy snack bar, but when you get inside you see all sorts of small decorative touches..............and the food is really nicely cooked.
We had full english breakfast for lunch which included toast and honey, orange juice and coffee, as well as egg+bacon+sausage+baked beans+tomato, and then came back for delicious omeletes and chips for tea, with home made orange cake. And excellent filter coffee!
And the waitress was charming, as well as justifiably proud of her orange cake.

“It made the difference”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2014

We went to Perissa on a budget. And walked into this roadside bistro, right in front of the church.
Well! Basically we walked in...and decided we'd walk in again nearly every day during our stay!

The couple running the place are friendly, helpful and kind - an amazing human specimen that more (all?) people should imitate.
Wifi is free, if you ask nicely.
The location is not fantastic (you can't see the beach, the road is right there) but the interiors are tastefully decorated, the chairs comfortable and the dominant green relaxing and perfect for a hot day.
The food, however, is what gets you. Extremely high quality, go for the greek combinations (especially the breakfast - I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE eaten such good sausages. And I'm Italian.) Order a fresh juice. Order a hamburger. And spend less than any other restaurant in town!

Id I went back to Santorini, I would choose a hotel in Perissa. ONLY for this place. And just to be clear, I'm not always like this: check my other reviews if you don't believe me ;)
