Stayed for a fortnight at Stelios. The whole family are really wonderful and its great to see a smiling face every morning when being so far from home.

Accomodation was great value and very clean. The only downside are young people who dont respect others and refuse to keep the noise at a reasonable level.

So close to everything in Perissa including the beach. Definitely recommend to others travelling to Santorini.

This place was the most hospitable and friendly place that I have ever stayed at! The whole family was so nice and extremely helpful with getting around the island and everything dealing with Santorini. The tour of the volcano and Oia that they provided was the best experience I have ever had! The rooms were always freshened up every day, and the linen was hung out on a clothesline to dry so they always smelled so nice! There were no crawly creatures in the room which was a plus. The pool was a nice refreshing part of the hotel as well. And the computers that they provide for guests to use was a nice supplement as well! Overall, I will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend them!

We stayed at Stelios Place for 2 nights on the recommendation of friends who had stayed there earlier. We were picked up late night from the port by Stelios and driven 20 mins to Perissa where this hotel is located. Stelios and his family made us feel welcome and were provided a quad room at the price of a double. Needless to say, the room was huge, clean and comfortable. The airconditioner was excellent for the warm nights and the hotel has a pool of its own. The hotel is so close to the beach and tens of restaurants. We breakfasted at the hotel on one day and Charlina Bar on the next. Dinner was at The Volcano and Yazz on the 2 nights. The restaurants are open until midnight and the place feels so nice and safe to walk around late at night. There is a bus every half hour to Fira and it takes 30 mins to reach there from where buses to Oia for the famous sunset leave on the hour. Stelios is a great place to stay for the price and its proximity to the beach. Would definitely recommend it.

We loved Stelio's Place! Stayed here for two nights in August and thought it was a great pick. We were with a youth tour group but decided not to stay at the recommended hotel and booked this after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. It was a bit of a pain having to get into the centre (on the crazy bus) to meet our group in the evenings but Stelio's pool made it worthwhile. Stelio picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry.

Stelio and his family were very helpful and friendly, they served yummy breakfast and lunch snacks at the poolside bar and had a variety of books and magazines for guests to borrow. The room was large and airy with a balcony. Facilities were basic but very clean and we did have the essentials ie TV, hairdryer etc. The bathroom was small but clean (not ultra-modern but okay). Had a problem with the shower head - the water went everywhere! Great location with convenience stores and shops down the road, hotel is right on the black beach (Perissa) as well. There is a huge pool area at the entrance to Stelio's; gorgeous pool, deck chairs, and food and drinks available at the bar meant we spent a whole day hanging out there. Very reasonably priced as well.

Overall had a fantastic time at Stelio's, would definitely stay here again.

  • Liked — The poolside scene and the friendly owners.

Located less than 5 min walk to the Perissa Black Sand Beach, and to the bus that will take you to Fira and Oia (to go to Oia you first need to change buses in Fira).

We (2 females on their 20s) stayed 3 nights, paid 33 Euros per night, got a room with 2 twin beds, own bathroom, TV with CNN, refrigerator, and air conditioning.

Positives:
-Free pickup from airport or port
-Reservations via email
-Paid with a VISA credit card
-Pool, Kitchen, nice terrace with chairs and table where you could have your breakfast, etc..
-Value at 33 Euro for the twin room
-Quiet location
-Clean rooms and facilities
-Very good location in Perissa, just < 5 min walk from Black Beach with lots of restaurants, there is one great restaurant in front of the bus stop, really excellent food for like 8.50Euro complete dinner menus (salad, entree, dessert), or 5.90Euro for a huge entree (fish, or lamb, or beef with potatos+small salad+rice). Rest name NIKOS in front of Tony's Art Gallery and bus stop. Phone: 02860-31-739/0286032-888. (We ate at several restaurants @ the beach, at Fira, or at Oia and this was the greatest value for the quality of food and great service. If you are staying at Stellios, is so close, you shouldn't miss it.)
-Sense of Courtesy, customer service, the whole family was friendly and nice, and with a smile to our questions/requests; in other hotels in Greece we felt like we were disturbing them, not here. Everything was very nice.
-About 10 min walk to "BIG DISCOUNT SUPER MARKET" where you could buy Water, juice, milk, lemon yogurt (SOOOO good), etc...and almost next to that supermarket there is a bakery open 24 hours, and you can have some of the local pastries for less than 2 euro and the owner is super nice.

Neutral:
-No alarm clocks in room
-No soap, shampoo, or hair dryer!
-No phone in room

Bus fare is 1.40 Euro from Fira to Oia, and 2 Euro from Perissa to Fira.

*I highly recommend this hotel and If I return to Santorini, I will be staying at this hotel.

My girlfriend & I stayed here for 2 days in May & this place was a great value! Stelios place is only steps from the beautiful black sand beach, many restaurants, & bars. Also only walking distance are places to book excursions, ferrys, rent ATC's, cheap internet access, fluff & fold laundry, & the bus stop that takes you to the top of the island where you can view the sunset from one of the many restaurants on the side of the caldera.

Very friendly staff & it was great to get picked up from the airport & dropped off at the ferry boat at no extra cost. Very clean rooms, & pool area & they also have a small bar & kitchen area where you can order food. We would definately recommend renting on of the ATC's or quads for the day (only about 20euro) so you can explore the whole island at your own pace, as the bus has only few and far between stops, when you are going to the top of the island where the caldera is. While you're up there, take the long walk down to the base of the caldera where there is a very good fresh fish restaurant right on the water!

You will not find a better price or value for only being steps away from the beach!

  • Liked — Frindliness, location, especially the price
  • Disliked — nothing really

This place was absolutely fantastic. A private room, just a minute walk to the beach, and very close to all the bars and restaurants on Perissa Beach. Can't complain about anything.
