Just returned from a 2 week stay at Anezina Villas. I was absolutely wonderful. Typical Greek room with 2 single beds pushed together, a small kitchen area and perfectly adequate bathroom with a bath and shower. The lovely family that own them were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Anna the maid changed our sheets and towels every day and kept everywhere beautiful. The pool was fabulous and never had any trouble getting a sun bed (although we were at the end of the season). It was also very quiet and relaxing. Not forgetting Kelly, their lovely dog who was so friendly. It was just a 5 min stroll to the beach which had plenty of sun beds. There was a handy little supermarket right opposite and a fantastic 24 hour bakery just 2 mins to the left which was run by a lovely family. The beach itself is volcanic and so was black and stony (perhaps not good for small children) but we bought some cheap beach shoes and had no problems at all. Lots of bars and restaurants along the beach front offering some great deals on meals. Also some lovely cocktail bars, charging approx 8 euros each but if you went along the main road to Bob's Bar or opposite to Dorian's, the cocktails were only 3 euros each!. One of our best meals was in God's Garden (past Dorians and turn right at the red wall) and also Atlantis on the beach front. Also lovely restaurant called Ancient Thira at the back of Anezina. Try going for a walk up to Ancient Thira (closed on Mondays) which is the mountain at the back of Anezina. You can walk up to the church half way up and then carry on to the top. Brilliant views! We hired a car for 3 days and saw the whole of the island. Fira is stunning but Oia is absolutely breathtaking. We also went to Imerovigli. We also hired quad bikes (Mikes bikes was the best deal 20 euro for 24 hours). This was by far the best way to see the island, we went everywhere over 2 days. Head over to the airport for great views of planes landing/taking off and also lovely beach over there called Monolithos beach, black and sandy, no rocks. Head inland to Megalochori village - beautiful unspoilt village. Also head out towards Akrotiri, red beach and the lighthouse. Make sure you do the volcano and hot springs trip, this was excellent.
On the whole we had a wonderful holiday and would recommend Anezina villas and this island to all.

My husband and I have just returned from attending my brothers wedding at the Anezina Villa's. The family at Anezina Villa's could not have done enough to see we all had a wonderful time.
We had a lovely villa right on the edge of the pool, and the cleanliness of them was excellent with a change of bedding and towels daily. can't wait to go back next year. Jean Mike

We have just got back from having a weeks stay at the anezina villas.Well what can i say it was perfect, if you just wanna chill, then this is the perfect place. Santorini is the most beatiful place i have ever been. Oia is breathtaking proper picture postcard, thira is nice, also imervigli (dont know if ive spelt it right???) is amazing too. Will definatley be going back, and staying in anezina......hopefully next year!!!

Room tip: we had room 1 which is right by the bar, in high season i would imagine it could be a bit noisy at night.

We have just retuned from staying at the Anerzina appartments in Santorini. We arrived at midnight and was taken straight to our room (no6) up quite a few steps I, so not for someone with mobility issues. A typical Greek appartments two single beds, wet room shower / wc and pay local air conditioning. Very clean but nothing special. And then we open the balcony doors, Wow what a great size and view. I did not measure it but would estimate it was about 6m by 4m. And because of its size and design at any time of day you can choose to sit in the sun or shade. The view is of the hill with the site of old thira at the top and midway up a little church cut into hillside. This church is illuminated at night and looks amazing. Because of time of year even though the temp was in the 30's we slept with balcony doors open and woke to a little piece of Heaven each day. The owners are lovely and from what we see get many repeat bookings each year. The maid worked tirelessly both in the rooms and all over site. They have a not large but very clean pool . And enough sun loungers to keep all guests happy. They do have a hot tub although this was not open whilst we were there. Also as it was end of season the evening bar openings were a bit hit and miss. Most of the other rooms dedicated to Olympic holidays are single storey situated around the pool. The owner also has slightly better rooms that he rents out privately ( but to remind everyone we were well happy with our standard room). If you stay here there is a 24hr bakery within 150m walk ( safe to go any time) and a lovely little restaurant called Cyclaydes just across the public square/ parking area. Also try walking towards the hillside and try the taverna called Ancient Thira, it may not look much but is owned by a lovely couple who speak really good English and serve great value food with more traditional dishes to compliment the usual holiday makers fare served on the seafront. Also I would recommend the Go Kart track just outside perissa 15 /20 mins walk from Anerzina appts. It may look run down and even closed but it is a very well designed track for some holiday fun and is manned by a really lovely guy called Tony ( take your own refreshments though). As a frequent visitor to the Greek islands I would highly recommend Santorini ( and the wine museum) which is fairly cheap and laid back.
