I had a very spacious room, with a balcony overlooking the island countryside and fully-stocked kitchenette, allowing me to prepare my own meals. It was an incredible value for the price I paid! Located on a hill in the countryside, the room was extremely quiet. I only heard the tinkling of the neighboring sheep's bells and an occasion motorbike.
The real charm of the small hotel rests in the hospitality of the owners. I was made to feel part of the family. From the beginning, I was picked up from the center of Petra and driven to the hotel, which was a few kilometers outside Petra. They also checked in on me throughout my two week stay, answering all my questions about the region and giving restaurant suggestions.
The hotel is located between Petra and Anaxos Beach, and perhaps the only downfall of the hotel is location. You must walk on the road or drive a few kilometers to either village in order to experience the beach, shopping, or any restaurants. It's not a huge problem, but for someone who would just like to step out onto the beach, it may not be ideal.More
