Me and my friend stayed at this hotel when we had a vacation with low budget. Therefore we had very low expectations and were thrilled when we saw the hotel. It is in Faliraki, about 20 min. with bus from the city Rhodes, but to us this was perfect as we had everything we needed in Faliraki. Our rooms were nice and clean with a balcony with great wiew to the sea. The room was cleaned every day (we stayed a week). The staff were so friendly and helped with everything, ecpecially sweet Maria in the reception. The reception was also open all night which was very nice. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel is that it might be a little old and needed some renovation, and the corridors had almost no lights. All in all a great stay, and I would absolutly recomend it.

Family from Norway 2 adults and 3 children had a nice holliday. Nice pool with sunbeds, nice owner (Maria) and staff, good food in restaurant, clean and the staff fixed plumbing from shower whithout our requist two hours after cleaning the room. aircondition was some euros exstra, some rooms witht sea view, average/simple standard for Greece i think, but we just was in the room for sleeping. 3 min from small beach, 10 min from Faliraki beach with everything and center for shopping/restaurant/travel, 5 euro with taxi from center, 10 euro from water park. Nice and simple to walk to/from center in 15 min.
Beach was very good for children, some wind, small waves.

Nice place and may we will return another time!

We also spoked whith 8-10 other guests that was satisfied with the hotel and staff.

On our last day, we were rudely told not to use the pool any more, as they felt we hadn't left enough money in the hotel restaurant. They told us that such a behaviour may be acceptable in our country, but that in Greece, it seems, the privilege of using a hotel pool depends on how much money the guests spend at the hotel, that we have already paid for. I must add, the hotel restaurant was empty night after night, so we assumed it was crap, and hence ate elsewhere.

The rooms were basic, but clean. The receptionists were usually nice, albeit a touch intrusive at times. There were loads of grasshoppers in the area, and we had to keep the doors and window closed at all times to avoid an insect invasion in our room. Also, the rooms are poorly noise isolated, causing us to wake up several times each night from small noices in the hall.

All in all, I wouldn't reccommend it

We found the hotel quite enjoyable, the staff - especially Maria, great. Pool was nice to have, and somewhat calm. On site restaurant was okay. Located 5minutes to closest beach; main beach of Faliraki 10-15minutes.
On the negative side- the hotel could use an update, air conditioning is not included in booking.

Well what can i say about the hercules hotel? Well not a great deal really as it was shut when we were supposed and had paid for the hotel. They of course had taken the money so there we were at half ten at night stranded at the start of the hoilday. Would i recommend this hotel?? Not while i have a hole in my [--]. Go to hotel Matina across the road instead. Still a hike into town but the people there were first class and above.

Myself and seven friends booked this holiday to get away, relax and have a good time. Unfortunately on the first day of our holiday we were shouted at for being too loud around the pool, this continued throughout our holiday.

We were not aloud food or even bottles of water in our rooms. We had to ask for toliet roll or for our towels to be changed, the maids came into our room once during our stay.

Our patio door did not lock properly which we were not happy about because our room was on the ground floor. We reported this, but the staff did not seem to care. We often came home at night to find the male receptionist asleep in the lobby and not guarding our room keys that they made us leave when we went out.

All of the staff apart from a female receptionist were rude and aggressive. It was a family run hotel and they made it very clear they didnt like English people as we were all on the ground floor and all reguarly shouted at. On the first night we were sitting in our room having a drink before going into the town, this was about 9 o clock, only to have the a man (who turned out to be one of the owners) jump over our balcony screaming at us in another language, which was scary for a group of girls in a foreign country !!

We were told we were not welcome round the pool+accused of having drinks round the pool which were not the hotels, when infact we had bought all our drinks from the pool bar, so we went to a pool down the road, where the staff were very friendly.

The town centre and beach were a walk from the hotel, I would recommend the country but NOT this hotel.

the hotel it self was was we were expecting for the price. it was very basic but clean. the one down side to the physicality of the hotel was that you don't have a fridge, which is annoying when its very hot.

The main reason im writing this is to warn people of the staff. It wasn't all of them, there was a very nice lady on reception some night who was very nice, however most of them were rude. We constantly got 'told off' for silly little things. it felt like you were at school. It seemed to many of us that they didn't like english people and so put them all in the basement! We were told not to use the pool after the second day because we were too big a group. (there were 8 girls, however we were rarely all there together). there were many other situations that were blown out of proportion. we felt that if it was a group out parents age they would have been much more polite rather than shouting personal comments.
